Interaction of Corrosion-Cumulative Fatigue and Shot Peening of 1100-H12 Aluminum Alloy
...Show More Authors

Abstract

Corrosion-fatigue occurs by the combined actions of cyclic loading and corrosive environment. The effect of shot peening on cumulative corrosion-fatigue life of 1100-H12 Al alloy was investigated. Before fatigue testing, specimens were submerged in 3.5%NaCl solution for 71 days. Constant fatigue tests were performed with and without corrosive environment. Cumulative corrosion-fatigue tests were also carried out in order to determine the fatigue life before and after shot peening. The constant fatigue life was significantly reduced due to corrosive environment and the endurance fatigue limit was reduced by 13% compared with dry fatigue. In case of shot peening the cumulative , corrosion -fatigue life was increased by a factor of about (2) compared with cumulative corrosion-fatigue life without shot peening. It was found that the CFLIF%(Cumulative Fatigue Life Improvement Factor) was about (2-6) due to shot peening surface treatment .

Keywords: Corrosion -fatigue , shot peening , 1100-H12 Al alloy, cumulative fatigue damage.

The preparatory phase since it corresponds to adolescence are the most important stages of life , where the individual 's personality to take shape at this stage and start asking questions about the same , trying to discover the positive and negative traits hehas in order to form distinctive character and also is being he have Love Poll For everything that goes on around him.
And attention to cognitive motivation is important for students because the student who owns a motive cognitively looking for self - knowledge with conviction, and learning then be meaningful and lasts long. The motive of knowledge are common in which cognitive components does not mean exclusive knowledge on academic books and research in the narrow borders but a

Immunohistochemical expression of Basic fibroblast growth factor-2 and Heparanase in oral squamous cell carcinoma
...Show More Authors

Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the expression of ?broblast growth factor-2 and Heparanase in oral squamous cell carcinoma, and to correlate the two studied marker with each other and with clinicopathologicalfinding including grade, stage. Methods: Sections of 30 formalin-fixed paraffin embedded blocks specimens of oral squamous cell carcinoma were immunostained to assess the expression of ?broblast growth factor-2 and Heparanse in oral squamous cell carcinoma cases. Results: The expression of fibroblast growth factor-2 and Heparanase were positive in all oral squamous cell carcinoma cases (100%). The positive expression of fibroblast growth factor-2 was significantly correlated with tumor site (p=0.016),and clinical pres

Effectiveness of an Interventional Program on Nurses Practices regarding Removing and Cleaning Burn Dead Tissue
...Show More Authors

Abstract

Objective(s): The study aims to measure the effectiveness of the program on removing dead tissue for burn patients by testing the nurses before the program in addition to testing them again after implementing the educational program.

Methodology: The study is quantitative in nature (one experimental) and will employ pre- and post-testing techniques between October 17, 2020 and March 20, 2022. A non-probability (purposive) sample of 24 nurses working in the Azadi Teaching Hospital's Burns and Plastic Surgery Center was chosen. The experimental survey of nursing practice, a literature review, scientific records, and previous research were all taken into considerat

Administrative Corruption in Contemporary Systems and the Role of Islamic Administrative Organization in Combating It
...Show More Authors

Administrative corruption is a concept that includes the abuse of entrusted power for personal benefit. It has become a prominent contemporary problem affecting all government systems around the world. It involves widespread harm and negative impact on progress and development, and is considered a threat at the international level because it impedes development programs and undermines the interests of the public. Administrative corruption threatens modern governments, distorts public policies, causes weaknesses in the oversight system, and affects the distribution of resources.

Islamic law is considered a pioneer in diagnosing this type of problem, as it provides clear solutions to eliminate administrative corruption, as Islamic

Knee Meniscus Segmentation and Tear Detection Based On Magnitic Resonacis Images: A Review of Literature
...Show More Authors

The meniscus has a crucial function in human anatomy, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (M.R.I.) plays an essential role in meniscus assessment. It is difficult to identify cartilage lesions using typical image processing approaches because the M.R.I. data is so diverse. An M.R.I. data sequence comprises numerous images, and the attributes area we are searching for may differ from each image in the series. Therefore, feature extraction gets more complicated, hence specifically, traditional image processing becomes very complex. In traditional image processing, a human tells a computer what should be there, but a deep learning (D.L.) algorithm extracts the features of what is already there automatically. The surface changes become valuable when

The Dynamics of an Eco-Epidemiological Model with Allee Effect and Harvesting in the Predator
...Show More Authors

The aim of this study was to propose and evaluate an eco-epidemiological model with Allee effect and nonlinear harvesting in predators. It was assumed that there is an SI-type of disease in prey, and only portion of the prey would be attacked by the predator due to the fleeing of the remainder of the prey to a safe area. It was also assumed that the predator consumed the prey according to modified Holling type-II functional response. All possible equilibrium points were determined, and the local and global stabilities were investigated. The possibility of occurrence of local bifurcation was also studied. Numerical simulation was used to further evaluate the global dynamics and the effects of varying parameters on the asymptotic behavior of

Calcareous Nannofossil Biostratigraphy and Ostracoda Paleoecology of Hartha Formation from Balad (1) well, Central Iraq
...Show More Authors

Seventeen samples of Hartha Formation in Balad (1) well, central Iraq, are studied on the basis of stratigraphic ranges of the recorded calcareous nannofossils for twenty species belonging to twelve genera. The studied section reveals three biozones arranged from oldest to youngest as follows; (1) Calculites ovalis Interval Biozone (CC19), (2) Ceratolithoides aculeus Interval  Biozone (CC20), (3) Quadrum  sissinghii Interval Biozone (CC21). These Biozones are correlated with other calcareous nannofossils biozones from both local and regional sections, leading to conclude the age of the Middle Campanian.

Rerecorded eighteen ostracode species that belong to eleven genera are identified,

Linear and Nonlinear Optical Properties of Anthocyanin Dye from Red Cabbage in Different pH Solutions
...Show More Authors

This article studied some linear and nonlinear optical characteristics of different pH solutions from anthocyanin dye extract at 180 oC from red cabbage. First, the linear spectral characteristics, including absorption and transmittance in the range 400-800 nm for anthocyanin solution 5% v/v with different pHs, were achieved utilizing a UV/VIS spectrophotometer. The experimental results reveal a shift in the absorption toward the longer wavelength direction as pH values increment. Then, the nonlinear features were measured using the Z-scan technique with a CW 532 nm laser to measure the nonlinear absorption coefficient through an open aperture. A close aperture (diameter 2 mm) calculates the nonlinear refractive index. The open Z-scan sh
