This study was conducted on the workers of the brick kilns at Al- Nahrawan area south-east of Baghdad city to investigate the effect of the pollutant emissions (fumes and gases) released from the burned fuel in this kiln. Blood samples were taken from group individuals of workers at this brick kilns and non-working individuals as a control. The influence of these emissions on the workers' health was measured by examining certain chromosomal aberrations among the workers. These aberrations were a formation of: chromosomal rings, dicentric chromosomes, breaks arm and acentric fragments.        Nanometal oxides were extracted from cement factories wastes and were employed to proliferate skin cancer cells using MTT (Methyl Thiazolyl Tetraolium) assay. MTT assay results for skin cancer cell line A375,for CaO NPs the best concentration was 200 μg/mL,The viability was reduced to 57.28% while the IC₅₀ was (69.66) g/mL for A375 and normal cell WRL68 was significantly higher (231.2 g/mL). The cytotoxicity results of CaO: MgO: Fe₂O₃ NPs, at higher concentrations (200 and 400) μg/mL showed a significant difference. Evidence of climate change is noticed by decreasing the mean annual rainfall and relative humidity with an increase in the annual mean temperature. The climate water balance has been calculated. Due to high temperature, increased evaporation, and low precipitation rates, there was a large water deficit. The physical and chemical parameters of Tigris River water in AL- Kut City have been studied. Three stations have been chosen. . The sampling of study was made monthly and for six months from September 2014 until February 2015.The result of turbidity values showed height mean in summer 84 NTU, The decrease of turbidity was one of the positive results to the effect of AL-Kut Dam on the Tigris River after the Dam and on the total suspended solids.
