Sediment samples were collected from main water processing and supply plants in Baghdad, and tested for radioactivity from both natural and artificial sources. These stations are: East Dijla (Tigris), Al-Kadisia, Al-Karama, Al-Rasheed, Al-Sader, Al-Wathba, and Al-Wihda supply stations. Qualitative measurements were made, and the results showed that most sediments exhibited natural radioactive level and sometimes less than the international regular standards. Specially, K-40 and Ra-226 results were much less than the standards for radioactive concentrations. (M_t / M / S) The model was chosen, and it is Single Queue Length with multiple service Channels, and using the estimating scales (QL_s, HOL, HOL_r) was carried out in considering the delay occurring to the customer before his entrance to the service, with the comparison of the best of them in the cases of the overload.

The experiment was carried out in the green house of, Biology Department of ,College of
Education , Ibn Al-Haitham , Baghdad University. For growth season 2008-2009 via planting
seeds of three genotypes of barley cultivars Baraka , Becson and Baraka x Forest ,to study the
effect of different concentrations of NaCl (o , 50 ,100 , 150 , 200 ) mM.L on some
growth parameters such as fresh and dry weight of shoot and elements plants the experiment
carried out by using completely randomized design applied with four replicates . Data were

The ground-state properties of exotic ¹⁸N and ²⁰F nuclei, including the neutron, proton and matter densities and related  radii are investigated using the two-body model of   within Gaussian (GS) and Woods Saxon (WS) wave functions.
