Experiments were conducted to study axial liquid dispersion coefficient in slurry bubble column of 0.15 m inside diameter and 1.6 m height using perforated plate gas distributor of 54 holes of a size equal to 1 mm diameter and with a 0.24 free area of holes to the cross sectional area of the column. The three phase system consists of air, water and PVC used as the solid phase. The effect of solid loading (0, 30 and 60 kg/m3) and solid diameter (0.7, 1.5 and 3 mm) on the axial liquid dispersion coefficient at different axial location (25, 50 and 75 cm) and superficial gas velocity covered homogeneous-heterogeneous flow regime (1-10 cm/s) were studied in the present work. The results show that the axial liquid dispersion coefficient increases with increasing superficial gas velocity, axial distance, solid concentration and an inverse relationship with particles diameter.

The present study has conducted to investigate the effect of hot aqueous extract of seeds and leaves of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) on embryonic development in Swiss albino mice morphologically , the results is showed throught dosage pregnant female orally after period 4, 8, 12days at the beginning of pregnancy by doses 100 , 200 , 300 mg/kg of body weight , the results showed normal period of pregnancy 21 days and abortion did not occur when the pregnant mice take the hot aqueous extract of leaves of fenugreek, but the pregnant mice that take the hot aqueous extract of seeds of fenugreek occurred abortion of embryos and showed some histopathological changes in ovaries and uterus such as congestion, hemorrhage, necrosis, odema,

Absorption properties (Attenuation coefficient, the percentage of the reflection, and the percentage of absorption) in x-band have been investigated in this paper for novolac – alumina- graphite mixture. Using novolac as the host material, the samples are prepared with alumina concentrations (5%,10%,15%,20%) and graphite concentrations (5%,10%) with thickness equal to 2.2mm .Network analyzer produced by HP-8510 was used in this work to measure the attenuation coefficient. The crystal compounds Tl2-xAg2-ySryBayCa2Cu3O10+& are successfully prepared in different concentrations (x, y=0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5) by solid state reaction process. The samples were then subjected to Nano technique under hydrolic pressure 8 ton/cm2. samples have been annealed in (850 C0) for 72 hours. The results show a best value at x, y=0.3 ratio of Ag, Ba. Electrical resistivity at x, y= 0.3 of Ag, Ba are obtained when the best value of Tc= 141 K.
