Elegy is one of the foundations of the Arab poetic heritage, and it is one of the main sections of poetry. Man has found in him his desire to express his innermost self at an hour filled with pain, and an outlet from which his anguish and grief come out in an expressive form that liberates tears and reproaches death.
Lamentation is an evolving purpose that grows with the growth of society and life and records the change that takes place in every stage of history. It is an important result of the poet's collision with life and events.
That is why I chose the lamentation poetry of Hafiz Ibrahim, due to the importance of this art to him, and it is the art in which he excelled the poets of his time.

This research deals with the aesthetics of describing nature and the joys of urban life in the environment of Fatimid Egypt, among a group of poets, who were deceived by its enchanting beauty and breathtaking scenery, through it they depicted the reality of the life they live, and the things that involved them, as well as showing their personal culture, and the joys of life that experience, articulating this with a descriptive and analytical study, focusing on how the poet portrayed the visual scene, in an important stage of Arabic literature in Egypt.
This paper aims at exploring the impact of the Iraq-Iran war in the poetry of Adnan Al-Sayegh. Al-Sayegh participation in this war makes him a first hand witness to the atrocities of the trenches and fight in the first lines. This war did not only change his life and world view for good, it changes the nature of his poetry as well. As aresult, war becomes a central issue not only in the poetry Al-Sayegh wrote in the 1980s and 1990s Iraq, but also in the exile.
