Objectives: To highlight the knowledge of Al-Kindy medical students regarding varicella infection and to assess their knowledge and attitude toward its prevention. Methodology: This descriptive cross-sectional study enrolled academic year 2020/2021 students at Al-Kindy College of Medicine from first to final year. Background: Client satisfaction with the immunization service is used to evaluate the quality of the admitted service and at the same time it affects the goodness of the health care outcome.

Objectives: This study assessed the satisfaction with immunization services offered to children and factors affecting this satisfaction.

Methods: Exit interviews for clients were conducted in Baghdad, Al-Karkh in a representative sample of primary health care centers to assess clients’ satisfaction with immunization services. Clients are companions of children encountered at study settings.

Background :Thalassemia is an autosomal
disease of the haemoglobin. Two types of
thalassemia are recognized: thalassemia major
and thalassemia intermedia.
The most serious cardiac complication in
thalassemia major is due to multiple blood
transfusions rather than the disease itself, which
is due to iron overload.
Cardiomyopathy is the most common cardiac
defect that occurs with iron overload. Pricarditis,
congestive heart failure and arrhythmias are due

A laboratory investigation of six different tests were conducted on silty clay soil spiked with lead in concentrations of 1500 mg/kg. A constant DC voltage gradient of 1 V/cm was applied for all these tests with duration of 7 days remediation process for each test. Different purging solutions and addition configurations, i.e. injection wells, were investigated experimentally to enhance the removal of lead from Iraqi soil during electro-kinetic remediation process. The experimental results showed that the overall removal efficiency of lead for tests conducted with distilled water, 0.1 M acetic acid, 0.2 M EDTA and 1 M  ammonium citrate as the purging solutions were equal to 18 %, 37 %, 42 %, and 29 %, respectively.
