Leaf samples of Lawsonia inermis were collected from Basrah city, South of Iraq to examine their antimicrobial activity . The effects of water and chloroform crude extracts of the leaves in different concentrations were obtained and bioassayed in vitro for its bioactivity to inhibit the growth of six types of bacteria .        Total flavonoid contents, reductive ability and radical scavenging activity were studied in the methanol extracts of Arum maculatum L. and Physalis peruviana L. The results revealed that A. maculatum extract had total flavonoids of 535.3±109.9 µg/ml, which was significantly higher than the recorded flavonoids in P. peruviana extract (352.0±12.7 µg/ml). Assessment of reductive ability revealed that both extract were effective in such activity and concentration-dependent. This study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of different techniques for extraction and purification of Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV). An isolate of the virus free of possible contamination with other viruses infecting the same host and transmitted by the same vector Bemisia tabaci Genn. was obtained. This was realized by indicator plants and incubation period in the vector. Results obtained revealed that the virus infect Nicotiana glutinosa without visible symptoms, while Nicotiana tabaccum var. The use of Cosine transform to analyze the model-noise pattern alteration with different vibration model applied on multimode fiber optics are studied. It's results compared with the Fourier transform to perform the same analysis using total frequency difference and the computation time, which almost coincide for the both transforms.
