A systematic approach is presented to achieve the stable grasping of objects through a two-finger robotic hand, in which each finger cavity was filled with granular media. The compaction of the latter, controlled by vacuum pressure, was used to adjust the structural and contact stiffness of the finger. The grasping stability was studied under the concurrent effect of an external torque and applied vacuum pressure. Stable grasping was defined as the no slippage condition between the grasped object and the two fingers. Modern education incorporates strong elements of collaborative learning: activities that prompt students to collaborate on completing learning tasks. In this work we investigate the relationship between media type and student collaboration and attribution patterns during collaborative content creation. We run similarity analyses on text and video artifacts submitted by students as part of collaborative exercises in an undergraduate module. Our main finding is that the same cohort of students was significantly more likely to attribute non-original content to its sources when authoring text compared to video content and when this content is not produced by a peer student. The corrosion behavior of copper and carbon steel in 1M concentration of hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sulphuric acid (H2SO4) has been studied. The corrosion inhibition of copper and carbon steel in 1M concentration of hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sulphuric acid (H2SO4) by Ciprofloxacin has been investigated. Specimens were exposed in the acidic media for 7 hours and corrosion rates evaluated by using the weight loss method. The effect of temperature (from 283 ºK to 333 ºK), pH (from 1to 6), inhibitor concentration (10-4 to 10-2) has been studied.
