Municipality of Baghdad’s communication means and methods during imposing the law operations

This study aims at  identifying  how Baghdad Municipality employs public relations in law enforcement operations and the role played by the Municipality in communication and communicating with the public, raising their awareness and educating them to not  abuse public property.  As for the research tools, the researcher used the questionnaire as a data  collection tool in addition to an analytical description of the means and methods of communication for public relations on  Baghdad Municipality Facebook page.

The research comes out with a set of result; the most important of which are:
The means through which citizens learned about the existence of campaigns to impose the law an eliminate violations were social media platforms; they got the highest percentage among other means.

emissions of the Public Relations Office of the Law Enforcement Plan (such as educating people to not violate public and private properties) were the highest among the rest of other missions.
White citizens continued tracking the activities and works of the Public Relations Offices of Baghdad Municipality’s directorates, which helped them, increase their own information, the question (media channels and social networking platforms played a major role in educating people to not violate public properties) got the highest percentage.

Mass Transfer Coefficient During Cathodic Protection of Low Carbon Steel in Seawater

The aim of this research is to calculate mass transfer coefficient, kd, during cathodic protection of low carbon steel in neutral seawater (3.5% W/V NaCl in distilled water with pH = 7). Two types of cathodic protection were used:

First: Sacrificial anode cathodic protection (SACP) were a pipeline of steel carrying seawater  using zinc as a sacrificial anode and with variable temperatures ranged (0 – 45oC) and volumetric flow rate ranged (5 – 900 lit/hr). It was found that the kd increases with increasing temperature and volumetric flow rate of seawater, where kd ranged (0.24×10-6 – 41.6×10-6 m/s).

Modeling of Plasma Affected Thermal Profile in Solids During Laser Materials Processing

A new scheme of plasma-mediated thermal coupling has been implemented which yields the temporal distributions of the thermal flux which reaches the metal surface, from which the spatial and temporal temperature profiles can be calculated. The model has shown that the temperature of evaporating surface is determined by the balance between the absorbed power and the rate of energy loss due to evaporation. When the laser power intensity range is 107 to108 W/cm2 the temperature of vapor could increase beyond the critical temperature of plasma ignition, i.e. plasma will be ignited above the metal surface. Three Weighted Residuals Methods for Solving the Nonlinear Thin Film Flow Problem

Abstract<p>In this paper, the methods of weighted residuals: Collocation Method (CM), Least Squares Method (LSM) and Galerkin Method (GM) are used to solve the thin film flow (TFF) equation. The weighted residual methods were implemented to get an approximate solution to the TFF equation. The accuracy of the obtained results is checked by calculating the maximum error remainder functions (MER). Moreover, the outcomes were examined in comparison with the 4<sup>th</sup>-order Runge-Kutta method (RK4) and good agreements have been achieved. All the evaluations have been successfully implemented by using the computer system Mathematica®10.</p>

Stability of the Finite Difference Methods of Fractional Partial Differential Equations Using Fourier Series Approach

The fractional order partial differential equations (FPDEs) are generalizations of classical partial differential equations (PDEs). In this paper we examine the stability of the explicit and implicit finite difference methods to solve the initial-boundary value problem of the hyperbolic for one-sided and two sided fractional order partial differential equations (FPDEs). The stability (and convergence) result of this problem is discussed by using the Fourier series method (Von Neumanns Method).
