Abstract

The current research aims to identify the most prominent beliefs about coronavirus of Baghdad University students, as well as to identify the prominent beliefs toward coronavirus of male and female students. To achieve the research objectives, a questionnaire of (15) items was administered to a sample of (600) male and female students collected from ten different colleges at the university of Baghdad. Stable isotopes 18O/16O and 13C/12C in the carbonate rocks of the Mishrif Formation are examined here to define the depositional characters in the basin includes paleo temperatures and paleo depth.      The Mishrif formation (Cenomanian – Early Turonian) has extensive distribution in Iraq and Middle East. The geometric morphometric technique was used to study the variables in the shape and size wings of different populations of mosquitoes Culex quinquefasciatus from different Iraqi provinces Babylon, Baghdad and Wasit. The results showed that the average of centroid size were 366, 387.5 and 407.4 Micron in Babylon, Baghdad and Kut, respectively. The statistical analysis showed that there were no significant differences in the average of centroid size of all specimens and they belong to the same species.

Tanqua anomala (von Linstow,1904) specimens were recovered, from the lining wall of the gastro-intestinal tract of the dice snake Natrix tessellate tessellate (Laurenti, 1768) collected in Baghdad city, central Iraq. Measurements of the males, females and a comparison of the nematode with other studies tabulated. Reporting of Tanqua anomala from this snake represents the first record for Iraq as well as a new host record.
