THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH MEDIA ETHICS
...Show More Authors

It must be emphasized that media is amongst human studies fusing older and more recent sciences together, and that its disclosures are the physics of the new communication. Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist, in his book “ Visions”, confirms this fact when he says :” As a research physicist, I believe that physicists have been particularly successful at predicting the broad outlines of the future .Professionally, I work in one of the most fundamental areas of physics, the quest to complete Einstein's dream of a "theory of everything." As a result, I am constantly reminded of the ways in which quantum physics touches many of the key discoveries that shaped the twentieth century. “ He then got to the fact that the physical disclosures are at the service of the media process. He says:” In the past, the track record of physicists has been formidable: we have been intimately involved with introducing a host of pivotal inventions (TV, radio, radar, X-rays, the transistor, the computer, the laser, the atomic bomb), decoding the DNA molecule, opening new dimensions in probing the body with PET, MRI, and CAT scans, and even designing the Internet and the World Wide Web. “ The problem of the research is that we set its limits at the beginning of the third millennium, ie. after the emergence of the phenomenon of the Italian Berlusconi, and the importance of research lies in the diagnosis of a new phenomenon that is contrary to the ethics of media work. But the problem of the research will remain present, represented by this continuous transformation and pursuit of bringing together the three authorities, also the disengagement will be a priority for the research. The major breakthroughs made to the media will make the monitoring task a difficult one. It is clear from the foregoing, that the ethics of media work face serious risks as dangerous as technological development that has left a chance for the media to reach high levels. A new threat has been diagnosed by "liberal globalization", which seeks to form multinational media groups with the power of politics, media and finance. On the other hand, there are those who are working to stop this new media invasion. We have referred to the attempts of media expert Agnassio Ramonet, who demanded the establishment of a fifth authority and the establishment of a media watchdog, but the level of work did not record any material return, while for the liberal globalization front, it performs like a fast train that can reach any destination. If we have an opinion regarding this matter, what we require is the broadcasting of a "media culture" in which the masses constitute a media immunity for the citizen, which means that the average recipient can understand and analyse the media game through the same source, the same dimension and the same goal. It is the civic sense of the media that will help uncover the mysteries of the great media game. It also reduces the clash between the three authorities - the state authority, the media authority and the authority of money, but still, it won’t be able to dismantle it and cancel it at the current stage.

Effect of Sustainable Glass Powder on the Properties of Reactive Powder Concrete with Polypropylene Fibers
...Show More Authors

Global warming and environmental damage have become major problems. The production of Portland cement releases large quantities of gas, which cause pollution to the atmosphere. This problem can be solved via the use of sustainable materials, such as glass powder. This study investigates the effect of partial replacement of cement with sustainable glass powder at various percentages (0, 15, 20, and 25%) by weight of cement on some mechanical properties (compressive strength, flexural strength, absorption, and dry density) of Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) containing a percentage of Polypropylene fibers (PRPC) of 1% by weight. Furthermore, steam curing was performed for 5 hours at 90oC after hardening the sample directly. The RPC was

Effects of fixed orthodontic appliance with antihypertensive drugs on the body weight of experimental rats
...Show More Authors

Background: This study aims to investigate the effect of fixed orthodontic appliances and/or antihypertensive drugs on the weight of experimental rats. Materials and Methods: Thir-ty-six male Wistar albino rats were subjected to a split-mouth design study, in which an orthodontic appliance was inserted in one side to move the first molar mesially for 2 weeks while the other side acted as a control to tooth movement. The rats were allocated into three groups: group A (n = 12), without any pharmacological treatment; group B (n = 12), subcu-taneous injection of bisoprolol fumarate (5 mg/kg) daily; and group C (n = 12), subcutaneous injection of valsartan (10 mg/kg) daily. A fixed orthodontic appliance with a closing coil spring delivering 5

The interaction of Porphyromonas gingivalis with host epithelial cells and its relevance to periodontal disease
...Show More Authors

Periodontitis is one of the most prevalent bacterial diseases affecting man with up to 90% of the global population affected. Its severe form can lead to the tooth loss in 10-15% of the population worldwide. The disease is caused by a dysbiosis of the local microbiota and one organism that contributes to this alteration in the bacterial population is Prophyromonas gingivalis. This organism possesses a range of virulence factors that appear to contribute to its growth and survival at a periodontal site amongst which is its ability to invade oral epithelial cells. Such an invasion strategy provides a means of evasion of host defence mechanisms, persistence at a site and the opportunity for dissemination to other sites in the mouth. However, p

Synthesis and study of the mixed ligand (phenylalanine and anthranilic acid) with some transition Ions
...Show More Authors

This paper presents the synthesis and study of some new mixed-ligand complexes containing anthranilic acid and amino acid phenylalanine (phe) with some metals . The resulting products were found to be solid crystalline complexes which have been characterized by using (FT-IR,UV-Vis) spectra , melting point, elemental analysis (C.H.N) , molar conductivity . The proposed structure of the complexes using program , chem office 3D(2000) . The general formula have been given for the prepared complexes : [M(A-H)(phe-H)] M(II): Hg(II) , Mn(II) ,Co(II) , Ni(II) , Cu(II) , Zn(II) , Cd(II) . Objective: The study aimed to assess the postoperative nurses' intervention for the patients with laparoscopic
cholecystectomy and to determine the relationship between Nurses' interventions and their demographic
characteristics.
Methodology: Quantitative design (a descriptive study) was started from 20th November 2012 up to 1st
September 2013. Non-probability (purposive sample) of (50) nurses, who were working in surgical wards, were
selected from Baghdad teaching hospitals (Baghdad Teaching Hospital, Digestives System and Liver Teaching
Hospital, AL-Kindy Teaching Hospital, and AL-Kadhimiyia Teaching Hospita). The data were collected through

Compare to the conditional logistic regression models with fixed and mixed effects for longitudinal data
...Show More Authors

Mixed-effects conditional logistic regression is evidently more effective in the study of qualitative differences in longitudinal pollution data as well as their implications on heterogeneous subgroups. This study seeks that conditional logistic regression is a robust evaluation method for environmental studies, thru the analysis of environment pollution as a function of oil production and environmental factors. Consequently, it has been established theoretically that the primary objective of model selection in this research is to identify the candidate model that is optimal for the conditional design. The candidate model should achieve generalizability, goodness-of-fit, parsimony and establish equilibrium between bias and variab

The Role of Chloroquine Phosphate on Acute Phase Reactant Proteins in Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis
...Show More Authors

The acute phase response is a major pathophysiologic phenomenon that accompanies inflammation whether acute or chronic. Complement (C3 and C4) and C - reactive protein (CRP) are positive acute phase proteins (+ ve APPs ). Their production takes place in hepatocyte and the blood concentration of these parameters are increased in osteoarthritis (OA). Chloroquine (CQ) is a diprotic weak base traditionally used to treat malaria. Recently the phosphate salt of CQ is used to decrease this type of (+ve APPs) . In this study,  patients who suffered from knee osteoarthritis (KOA) are treated with oral dosage form of chloroquine phosphate (CQP) for one month, twice daily. Our results demonstrate that CQP improves the patient status by decreas
