عرف العرب ، منذ القدم ، الأحجار الكريمة وعنوا بإقتناء أنواعا عديدة منها ، حيث كانت من أهم واردات سكان بلاد وادي الرافدين من السومريين والبابليين ثم الآشوريين ، كما عرفها المصريون القدماء وغيرهم من الشعوب القديمة ، فوجدت في قبورهم ومدافنهم وخزائن كنوزهم، مثل الياقوت الأحمر واللازورد واللؤلؤ . بالإضافة إلى ذلك فقد كان معدني الذهب والفضة من المعادن الوفيرة في هذه البلاد ، ولها الأولوية في صناعة الحلي.

This research seeks to study the role of proactive leadership as an essential element that helps all federations that lead the wheel of sports, including the Iraqi Handball Federation, so that it builds a correct environment that helps manage the organizational errors that the Handball Federation may fall into, and this in turn helps in early detection of errors and obstacles that may occur. The aim of the research is to measure the efficiency of the companies in the industrial sector listed in the Iraqi Stock Exchange , by directing these companies to their resources (inputs) towards achieving the greatest possible returns (outputs) or reduce those resources while maintaining the level of returns to achieve the efficiency of these companies, therefore, in order to achieve the objectives of the research, it was used (Demerjian.et.al) model to measure the efficiency of companies and the factors influencing them.
