The majority of Iraqi translator-student have problems at two main levels: the conceptual level and the productive level. From different perspectives, such problems are either related to ‘language’ or to ‘cognition’. This binary view is an indication to the implicit and interchangeable relationship between language and cognition. The relationship between cognition language and translator starts with the first language and its effect on the Iraqi translators. Identifying the effect is the aim of the present study. Logic is one of the sciences that have receded and regressed in the field of Islamic sciences. This regression is the result of several factors, the most important of which are:

1- The Aristotelian logic, concerned with the seemingly essential shape and the underlying truth in the text, which has been translated into Arabic, is no longer able to keep pace with scientific revelations and epistemological spaces of our time.
2- The existence of logic in the curricula of Islamic studies was not subject to a study linking logic and Islamic sciences. Therefore, we find that the student studies logic as if it were a strange subject that has nothing to do with the subjects of Islamic studies and even Islamic philosophy.

The current research aims to detect the level of suicidal tendencies among secondary school students in terms of gender and educational stage (intermediate school students and high school students). The researcher adopted Al Hafeez's (2017) scale for suicidal tendencies, it consists of (57) items including six domains, namely: suicidal ideation, social motives for suicide, tendency to self-harm, desire for death, indifference and pessimism about life, willingness to commit suicide. Age and growth of Varicorhinus damascinus (Val.) in Tigris river at Salahuldin province have been investigated. Monthly samples were taken during the period from September 1999 to August 2000, using small-meshed gill nets. The age data showed that there were six age groups and the dominant age groups were (III – IV) for both sexes. The results of the present study revealed that the increment in length of V. damascinus at the sites of study showed a tendency to decrease with the increase in age, after the third year of life in both sexes. Abstract

The current research aims to identify psychological resilience among middle school students. a sample of (300) male and female students was chosen from Al- Azmaa Intermediate School for Boys and Ohran Intermediate School for Girls, It is affiliated with the second Rusafa Education Directorate in Baghdad Governorate. To achieve the research objective, the researcher adopted a scale of Luthar & Cicchetti (2000) to measure psychological resilience. The results showed that middle school students have psychological resilience. There is no significant difference in psychological resilience between males and females.
