The present study includes the effect of the ethanolic and aqueous extract of Piper nigrum against the third instar of Culex pipiens molestus (Diptera:Culicidae) in different concentrations: 1, 1.5 ppm of ethanolic extracts of Piper nigrum causing 100% mortality of larvae in the second day of treatment, while the concentrations 5% of aqueous extracts of Piper nigrum caused 100% mortality of larvae in the second day of treatment. The microbend sensor is designed to experience a light loss when force is applied to the sensor. The periodic microbends cause propagating light to couple into higher order modes, the existing higher order modes become unguided modes. Three models of deform cells are fabricated at (3, 5, 8) mm pitchand tested by using MMF and laser source at 850 nm. The maximum output power of (8, 5, 3)mm model is (3, 2.7, 2.55)nW respectively at applied force 5N and the minimum value is (1.9, 1.65, 1.5)nW respectively at 60N.The strain is calculated at different microbend cells ,and the best sensitivity of this sensor for cell 8mm is equal to 0.6nW/N.

The present study aimed to determine the role of respiratory tract bacterial infection in RA activity. Methods: Blood and sputum samples were collected from 31 patients with RA and 12 healthy subjects as control. In this paper, experimental study has been done for temperature distribution in space conditioned with Ventilation Hollow Core Slab (TermoDeck) system. The experiments were carried out on a model room with dimensions of (1m 1.2m 1m) that was built according to a suitable scale factor of (1/4). The temperature distributions was measured by 59 thermocouples fixed in several locations in the test room. Two cases were considered in this work,  the first one during unoccupied period at night time (without external load) and the other at day period with external load of 800W/m² according to solar heat gain calculations during summer season in Iraq.
