Snare-Assisted Retrieval of an Embolized Broken Double Lumen from the Heart of a Female Patient Diagnosed with End Stage Kidney Disease: A Case Report
...Show More Authors

Foreign body embolization is a rare but serious iatrogenic complication that might necessitate transcatheter or even surgical retrieval. A broken double-lumen catheter was snared using a goose neck snare kit. The procedure was successful, and the patient experienced no further complications.

A NOTE ON STRONGLY FULLY STABLE BANACH ALGEBRA MODULES RELATIVE TO AN IDEAL
...Show More Authors

Let A be a unital algebra, a Banach algebra module M is strongly fully stable Banach A-module relative to ideal K of A, if for every submodule N of M and for each multiplier θ : N → M such that θ(N) ⊆ N ∩ KM. In this paper, we adopt the concept of strongly fully stable Banach Algebra modules relative to an ideal which generalizes that of fully stable Banach Algebra modules and we study the properties and characterizations of strongly fully stable Banach A-module relative to ideal K of A.

Panic Attacks Over COVID 19 : A Survey Study on An Iraqi University Sample
...Show More Authors

Abstract

The present paper attempts to detect the level of (COVID-19) pandemic panic attacks among university students, according to gender and stage variables.

To achieve this objective, the present paper adopts the scale set up by (Fathallah et al., 2021), which has been applied electronically to a previous cross-cultural sample consisting of (2285) participants from Arab countries, including Iraq. The scale includes, in its final form, (69) optional items distributed on (6) dimensions:  physical symptoms (13) items, psychological and emotional symptoms (12) items, cognitive and mental symptoms (11) items, social symptoms (8) items, general symptoms (13) items and daily living practices (12) items

Control on a 2-D Wing Flutter Using an Adaptive Nonlinear Neural Controller
...Show More Authors

An adaptive nonlinear neural controller to reduce the nonlinear flutter in 2-D wing is proposed in the paper. The nonlinearities in the system come from the quasi steady aerodynamic model and torsional spring in pitch direction. Time domain simulations are used to examine the dynamic aero elastic instabilities of the system (e.g. the onset of flutter and limit cycle oscillation, LCO). The structure of the controller consists of two models :the modified Elman neural network (MENN) and the feed forward multi-layer Perceptron (MLP). The MENN model is trained with off-line and on-line stages to guarantee that the outputs of the model accurately represent the plunge and pitch motion of the wing and this neural model acts as the identifier. Pomegranate Molasses as a Novel Bio-Modifier for Asphalt Binder: An Experimental Investigation
...Show More Authors

Bio-binders are increasingly gaining attention in the pavement community as sustainable alternatives to conventional petroleum-derived asphalt binders. While complete replacement of asphalt binder remains challenging, growing environmental concerns and energy crises demand at least partial substitution with renewable and eco-friendly materials. In this context, this study explores the use of pomegranate molasses (PM), a natural bio-based product, as a novel asphalt binder modifier. A comprehensive experimental program was conducted to evaluate the chemical, thermal, rheological, and mechanical effects of PM incorporation at three dosages (10%, 20%, and 30% by weight of asphalt binder) compared with a reference binder (RB). A MODIFIED WATER INJECTION TECHNIQUE TO IMPROVE OIL RECOVERY: MISHRIF CARBONATE RESERVOIRS IN SOUTHERN IRAQ OIL FIELDS, CASE STUDY
...Show More Authors

A modified water injection technique has organized by this study to improve oil recovery of the Mishrif reservoirs using polymerized alkaline surfactant water (PAS-Water) injection. It is planned to modify the existing water injection technology, first to control and balance the hazardous troublemaker reservoir facies of fifty-micron pore sizes with over 500 millidarcies permeability, along with the non-troublemaker types of less than twenty micron pore sizes with 45 to 100 millidarcies permeability. Second to control Mishrif reservoirs rock-wettability. Special core analysis under reservoir conditions of 2250 psi and 90 °C has carried out on tens of standard core plugs with heterogeneous buildup, using the proposed renewal water f

THE SOCIAL INTERACTION OF LANGUAGE IN A COMIC SERIES: A SOCIOLINGUISTIC STUDY

Dell Hymesin 1964coined The Ethnography of Communication in an attempt to explain the ways in which people use the language to interact. It hypothesizes that ethnography is less applicable among participants who have the same sociocultural background. It was proven that all the basic speech components occur whenever there is an interactional situation. The elements of (SPEAKING) schema are closely connected. However, the findings establish the fact that these elements take place effectively among participants who have the same sociocultural background. One of the most outstanding conclusions is the capability of the (SPEAKING) model to analyze not only an interaction between two or more participants, but also any event which consists of a mo
