Femtosecond laser pulse propagation in monomode optical fibers is demonstrated and investigated numerically (by simulations) and experimentally in this paper. A passively mode locked Nd:glass laser giving a pulse duration of about 200 fsec at 1053 nm wavelength and 120 mW average optical power with 100 MHz repetition rate is used in the experimental work. Total of 46 isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae were collected from patients attending (Al-Yarmook Hospital and Education Labs / medical city), and isolates were re-identified, depending on morphology and biochemical tests . Disk diffusion method was employed to determine antibiotic susceptibility of forty six isolates by using eleven antibiotics .The results revealed the sensitivity of six isolates (9.3%) to Imipenem and Meropenem . In vitro antifungal susceptibility test of itraconazole was carried out against 38 isolates from nails, skin, oral cavity, vagina and wounds, This study was done in Ramadi Teaching Hospital in period from January to August 2010.
