Analysis of genome variation in CEs of meningococcal isolates
...Show More Authors

Important points were concluded from this analysis related with the presence of the same variable CEs within multiple isolates with different time points being under the selection and the location of SNPs within the conserved functional pattern of CEs. In the 40 isolates, 9 out of 39 variable CEs conducted with multiple isolates

Isolation and identification of some bacterial isolates from soil contaminated with crude oil and Testing Their Effectiveness
...Show More Authors

Bacterial strains were isolated from oil-contaminated soil, in 2018, these isolates were identified, and with the aim of finding out the ability of these isolates to degrede the oil compounds, the color change of medium which added to it isolates was read by the method of Pacto Bushnell Hans. Then the change in the petroleum compounds was read by gas chromatography, for the most effective isolates.

The nine isolated bacterial showed different degrees of color change, and the isolates (Pseudomonas, Bacillus, Micrococcus) outperformed the color change amount (78, 78, 77) %, respectively, compared to the control, and the three isolates together showed the best color change of 90.7. % Compared to the control, and the

Expression of virulence and antimicrobial resistance genes among Escherichia coli clinical isolates from blood and stool samples
...Show More Authors
Objective:

As major nosocomial pathogens, Escherichia coli isolates exhibit antibiotic resistance and also express adhesive structures and antibiotic resistance genes. The objective of this study was the comparison of virulence gene expression of extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)-producing E. coli between blood and stool samples.

Methods:

In this study, 20 E. coli clinical isolates (10 ESBL-producers including 5 from blood, 5 from stool sample

Performance Analysis of VoIP in Wireless Networks
...Show More Authors

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is important technology that’s rapidly growing in the wireless networks. The Quality of Service (QoS) and Capacity are two of the most important issues that still need to be researched on wireless VoIP. The main aim of this paper is to analysis the performance of the VoIP application in wireless networks, with respect to different transport layer protocols and audio codec. Two scenarios used in the simulation stage. In the first scenario VoIP with codec G.711 transmitted over User Datagram Protocol (UDP), Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP), and Real-Time Transport Protocol (RTP). While, in the second scenario VoIP with codec G.726 transmitted over UDP, SCTP, and RTP protocols. Network simulator

Synoptic analysis of dust storm in Iraq
...Show More Authors

In this study, the synoptic analysis of dust storm for spring and summertime in Iraq were investigated. The images for dust provided by NASA are used to emphasize the dust storm days, while the composite maps of wind vector and geopotential 850hPa are mapped to investigate the pressure and wind direction patterns appearing with the dust condition in the same days. Spring has more dust frequency than summertime, especially in May. The frontal type of dust storm is dominant on spring, the cold air pushes the warm air that picking up the sand to the air through the vertical wind, but the southwestern high-speed wind and drought condition were controlled on the dust in summer. The northwestern wind is the main factor that carries the dust for l

This study deals with the Spatial and Periodical Variation of the Economical Activities for the
Population of Al – Anbar Province on the level of districts , according to the Population
Computation for the period 1987 and 1997 and the results of determinations and numberings
for the year of 2011 .
This study depends on the Details Classifications of the 17th Activities for 1997 and 2011
beside the Triple Classification of the Economical Activities for the three study years .
The study proves that there is a spatial and periodical variation on the level of study area , and
that’s because of many factors , one of the most important of them was the distribution of
economical siege, as well as the weakness of the

Seasonal variation and correlation between the physical, chemical and microbiological parameters of Nile water in selected area in Egypt (Case study): physical, chemical and microbiological parameters of Nile water
...Show More Authors

Fresh water resources in terms of water quality is a crucial issue worldwide. In Egypt, the Nile River is the main source of fresh water in the country and monitoring its water quality is a major task on governments and research levels. In the present case study, the physical, chemical and algal distribution in Nile River was monitored over two seasons (winter and summer) in 2019. The aims of the study were to check the seasonal variation among the different water parameters and also to check the correlations between those parameters. Water samples were collected from the Nile in Cairo governorate in EGYPT. The different physiochemical and microbiological properties in water samples were assessed. The studied parameters were included: te

Silver nanoparticles biosynthesis and their antimicrobial activity against wild and mutant isolates of different G-ve bacterial types
...Show More Authors

Five isolates of Gram negative bacteria (Klebsiella pneumoniae, Psuedomonas auroginosa, proteus mirabilis and two strains of E.coli) were in quested for the ability of bearing silver nanoparticles by using LB medium, all the isolates of bacteria were buttered brown color just as soon as mixed the supernatant of bacterial culture with AgNO3 solution, that refered the biosynthesis of Silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs). UV–visible spectrophotometer and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy were utilized for estimation of (Ag NPs). The five isolates of bacteria were tendered to produce spontaneous mutants by using different kinds of antibiotics, Ampicillin put to use for making mutant in E.coli and Proteus mirabillis, while Pseudom

Detection of 16S rRNA Methylases and Co-Resistance with β-lactams among Klebsiella pneumoniae Isolates from Iraqi Patients
...Show More Authors

Out of 150 clinical samples, 50 isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae were identified according to morphological and biochemical properties. These isolates were collected from different clinical samples, including 15 (30%) urine, 12 (24%) blood, 9 (18%) sputum, 9 (18%) wound, and 5 (10%) burn. The minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) assay revealed that 25 (50%) of isolates were resistant to gentamicin (≥16µg/ml), 22 (44%) of isolates were resistant to amikacin (≥64 µg/ml), 21 (42%) of isolates were resistant to ertapenem (≥8 µg/ml), 18 (36%) of isolates were resistant to imipenem (4- ≥16µg/ml), 43 (86%) of isolates were resistant to ceftriaxone (4- ≥64 µg/ml), 42 (84%) of isolates were resistant to ceftazidime (1
