The research dealt with the analysis of the relations between the GDP of the agricultural sector in Iraq, oil prices, the exchange rate and the GDP both on the short term and long term. The research adopted data analysis for the period from 1980-2019 using the ARDL model. the results indicate the existence of long-term relationships between oil prices and the prices of each agricultural commodity at a significance level of 5%. Also, oil prices have a negative consequence on agricultural production in Iraq, and the Iraqi economy is a rentier economy that depends mainly on oil as a source of income and budget financing.

      The Yamama Formation represents a part of the Late Berriasian-Aptian sequence, deposited during the Early Cretaceous period within the main shallow marine depositional environment. The studied area covers three oil fields; Sindbad oil field, Halfaya and Ad'daimah oil field, located in southeastern Iraq. In Paracoccus denitrificans Pd1222 bacterium, Pden_3633 encoding gene has been nominated to encode for Isovaleryl CoA dehydrogenase (IVDH) [1], the enzyme which involve in leucine catabolism pathway. In this study, this putative IVDH was investigated. IVDH encoding gene from P. denitrificans Pd1222 in addition to desired features for cloning, expression and purification have been designed and synthesized. The synthetic coding sequence was expressed in Escherichia coli. The enzyme was purified as a Strep-Tagged protein with a total protein 220.5 mg. This investigation aimed to explain the mechanism of MFCA by applying this method on air-cooled engine factory which was suffering from high production cost. The results of this study revealed that MFCA is a useful tool to identify losses and inefficiencies of the production process. It is found that the factory is suffering from high losses due to material energy and system losses. In conclusion, it is calculated that system losses are the highest among all the losses due to inefficient use of available production capacity.
