Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles from Alhagi graecorum Leaf Extract and Evaluation of Their Cytotoxicity and Antifungal Activity
...Show More Authors

Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using different plant parts has shown a great potential in medicinal and industrial applications. In this study, AgNPs were in vitro green synthesized using A. graecorum, and its antifungal and antitumoractivities were investigated. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) image result indicated spherical shape of AgNPs with a size range of 22-36 nm indicated by using Image J program. The functional groups indicated by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) represented the groups involved in the reduction of silver ion into nanoparticles. Alhagi graecorum AgNPs inhibited MCF-7 breast cancer cell line growth in increased concentration depend manner, significant differences shown at

Identification Pseudomonas aeruginosa by 16s rRNA gene for Differentiation from Other Pseudomonas Species that isolated from Patients and environment
...Show More Authors

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common and major opportunistic human pathogen, its causes many and dangersinfectious diseases due to death in some timesex: cystic fibrosis , wounds inflammation , burns inflammation , urinary tract infection , other many infections otitis external , Endocarditis , nosocomial infection and also causes other blood infections (Bacteremia). thereforebecomes founding fast and exact identification of P. aeruginosafrom samples culture very important. However, identification of this species may be problematic due to the marked phenotypic variabilitydemonstrated by samples isolates and the presence of other closely related species. To facilitate species identification, we used 16S ribosomal DNA(rRNA) sequence data

The effect of 5555 strategy on reading comprehension among 4th preparatory students Assist. Prof. Dr. Hassan Khilbas Hammadi College of Education Ibn Rushd – The University of Baghdad Assistant Lecturer. Waleed Khaled Talib Directorate – General For Education Province Of AL - Anbar The purpose of study is to identify the effect of 5555 strategy on reading comprehension among 4th preparatory students. To do this, null hypothesis was postulated. The author hypothesize that there is no a statistically significant difference at (0.05) level between experimental group's scores who study reading comprehension subject following the 5555 strategy and control group's scores who study the same subject following the traditional method in readin

Effect of Augmented Reality Technology on Spatial Intelligence among High School Students
...Show More Authors

Spatial Intelligence is a mental ability to understand and solve real-world problems. These visual-spatial representations are fundamental in learning various "STEM" topics, like digital drawing, art presentations, creating graphical representations, 2D designs. Opportunity to interact with real and/or virtual objects. It is a good opportunity in applying new techniques such as the augmenter, which is able to clarify mathematical tables, concepts and generalizations greatly to the visualization, understanding and mastery of concepts mathematically. The purpose of the research is to investigate impact of using AR technology in developing spatial intelligence for secondary school students, Baghdad. The quasi-experimental design was us

Design, Synthesis and Preliminary Pharmacological Evaluation of New Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Agents Having a 4-(Methylsulfonyl) Aniline Pharmacophore
...Show More Authors

A series of 4-(methylsulfonyl)aniline derivatives were synthesized in order to obtain new compounds as a potential anti-inflammatory agents with expected selectivity against COX-2 enzyme. In vivo acute anti-inflammatory activity of the final compounds 11–14 was evaluated in rat using an egg-white induced edema model of inflammation in a dose equivalent to 3 mg/Kg of diclofenac sodium. All tested compounds produced significant reduction of paw edema with respect to the effect of propylene glycol 50% v/v (control group). Moreover, the activity of compounds 11 and 14 was significantly higher than that of diclofenac sodium (at 3 mg/Kg) in the 120–300 minute time interval, while compound 12 expressed a comparable effect to that of di

The symmetrical N,N‾-Bis-(4-methyl phenyl) pyromellitamic diacid  (I) was synthesized from the reaction of toludine with pyromellitic dianhydride in dry acetone. Esterification of amic acid (I) with dimethyl sulphate in basic medium using acetone as a solvent give symmetrical N,N‾-bis-( 4- methyl phenyl ) pyromellitam diacetate (II).  The condensation of new ester with hydrazine hydrate in ethanol  leads to the formation symmetrical N,N‾-bis- (4-methyl phenyl) pyromellitamic hydrazide (III). New symmetrical 1,3-oxazepine derivatives (V)a-e  can be synthesized  from the reaction of the new synthesized Schiff bases (III)a-e (which are synthesized from the reaction new hydrazide
