The ligand [Potassium (E)-(4-(((2-((1-(3-aminophenyl) ethylidene) amino)-4-oxo-1,4- dihydropteridin-6-yl) methyl) amino)benzoyl)-L-glutamate] was prepared from the condensation reaction of folic acid with (3-aminoacetophenone) through Schiff reaction to give a new Schiff base ligand [H2L]. The ligand [H2L] was characterized by elemental analysis CHN, atomic absorption (A.A), (FT-I.R.), (U.V.-Vis), TLC, E.S. mass (for spectroscopes), molar conductance, and melting point. The new Schiff base ligand [H2L], reacts with Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Cr(III) and Cd(II) metal ions and (2-aminophenol), (metal : derivative ligand : 2-aminophenol) to give a series of new mixed complexes in the general formula:- K3[M2(HL)(HA)2], (where M=Mn(II) and Cd(II)); K3[M2(HL)(HA)2.H2O], (where M= Cu(II) , Ni(II) and Co(II); and K[Cr2(HL)(HA)2(H2O)3]. These complexes were characterized by elemental analyses [(C.H.N) and (A.A)], (FT-I.R), (U.V-Vis.), molar conductance, 1 H,13CNMR, biological activity, TLC and magnetic moment measurements. From the above data the proposed molecular structure for Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Cr(III) and Cd(II) complexes adopt a tetrahedral structure about the metal ions.
Five membered heterocyclics derivatives were synthesized in this work by three routes. The first route includes the synthesis of N-benzoic acid 1,2,3,-triazole derivatives (3),(4) by diazotation of methyl-2-amino benzoate and treating the resulted salt (1) with sodium azide and ethyl acetoacetate or acetyl acetone, respectively. In the second route, derivatives of pyrazole (8) pyrazolin-5-one (9), (10) were prepared by the reaction of the salt (1) with some active methylene compounds to give the corresponding hydrazones derivatives (5-7) which then they were treated with hydrazine hydrate. Show MoreLow conversion copolymerization of N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidon M.W = (111.14) VP (monomer-1) has been conducted with acrylic acid AA and methymethacrylate MMA in ethanol at 70ºC , using Benzoyl peroxide BPO as initiator . The copolymer composition has been determined by elemental analysis. The monomer reactivity ratios have been calculated by the Kelen-Tudos and Finman-Ross graphical procedures . The derived reactivity ratios (r1 , r2 ) are : (0.51 , 4.85) for (VP / AA ) systems and (0.34 , 7.58) for (VP , MMA) systems , and found the reactivity ratios of the monomer AA , MMA is mor than the monomer VP in the copolymerization of (VP / AA) and (VP /MMA) systems respectly . The reactivity ratios values were used for microstructures calculation.

Many new heterocyclic compounds including 4-thiazolidinones containing indole with triazole units were described. The new Schiff bases [VII] a, b and [VIII] a, b synthesized by condensation acid hydrazides [II],[VI] with different (aromatic) aldehydes in absolute ethanol. The refluxing equimolar amounts of the Schiff bases ([VII] a, b,[VIII] a, b) with thioglycolic acid in benzene led to get thiazolidin-4-ones derivatives ([IX] a, b and [X] ad). A comparison study was made for the reaction of triruthenium carbonyl Ru3(CO)12 with azoarene ArN=NAr . This reaction was monitored in two kinds of solvents , toluene , and n- octane , which yielded new triruthenium carbonyl complex Ru3(μ3-NAr)2(CO)9 . The reactions of azoarenes ArN=NAr with Ru3(CO)12 formed the following trinuclear compound of Ru3((μ3- NAr)2(CO)9 (Ar-C6H4Br-4) in law yield .
