This study aims to evaluate and compare the cytotoxicity and biocompatibility of a modified heat-cured acrylic denture base material containing 15% phosphoric acid 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate ester (PA2HEME) with those of nonmodified PMMA. Discs with a diameter of 12 mm and a thickness of 2 mm were prepared using a heat-cured PMMA denture base material and divided into control and experimental groups. The experimental group was modified with 15% phosphoric acid 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate ester (PA2HEME). The modified and nonmodified materials were tested via FTIR, and the effect of modification on surface roughness was evaluated with AFM. An in vitro test was conducted to examine the cytotoxicity and biocompatibility of heat-cured acrylic denture base materials (control and experimental groups) by using a rat embryonic fibroblast cell line (REF). Cell culture viability was estimated with a methyltetrazolium solution cytotoxicity assay. The surface roughness of PA2HEME-modified acrylic resin (mPMMA) was not significantly different from that of nonmodified PMMA acrylic resin. The cytotoxicity test on mPMMA demonstrated no significant change in the cell viability compared with that of the negative control. No deteriorating or inhibitory effect on cell growth was observed after 24 and 72 h. The modification of denture base materials with 15% PA2HEME has no cytotoxic or inhibitory effects on the growth of the studied fibroblast cell line.
This research aims at clarifying the concept of social auditing, which is one of the most important reasons for its emergence is social responsibility accounting and its role in measuring the social performance of enterprises. The study also aimed to know how social auditing has an impact and its role in improving the social performance of business organizations, and the research refers to testing the hypotheses of an impact of social auditing on social performance through a commitment to social responsibility. The research sample consisted of 200 individuals from 20 Algerian business organizations and represented individuals who were researched in managers and em

The structure of Schiff base was obtained by (C.H.N.) microanalysis, Mass, 1HNMR, FT-IR and UV-Vis spectral methods and thermal analysis. Metal mixed ligand complexes of some metal(II) salts with Schiff base ligand and anthranilic acid were prepared in the molar ratio (1:2:2), (Metal):(SBL)2:(Anthra)2, (SBL)= Schiff base ligand, (Anthra) =anthranilic acid and Metal= Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II). The thermal behaviour (TGA) of the complexes was studied. The prepared complexes identified by using mass, thermal analysis, FT.IR and UV-Vis spectrum methods, on otherwise flame

A low-cost adsorbent called HKUST-1 was prepared and characterized in this research to investigate its ability for propane storage at different temperatures (25, 30, 35, and 40 oC) and pressures of (1-7) bar. HKUST-1 was made using a hydrothermal method and characterized using powder X-ray diffraction, BET surface area, scanning electron microscopic (SEM), and Fourier Transforms infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The current research problem includes a variety of research motivations to serve the private health sector, which is witnessing a great competition from internal and external environments. In this regard, private medical clinics are increasingly seeking to attract and retain customers through the quality of their service offerings represented by health services. Innovative and effective marketing methods to improve performance and stay in competition, by relying on the physical evidence of the product as a component of the marketing mix of services and its role in particular in packaging and supporting the health service with concrete evidence that affects the customer an
