Background The escalating global concern over increased body weight in adolescents, coupled with the rising rates of adolescent pregnancy worldwide, presents a significant challenge to healthcare systems. We plan to identify the maternal and neonatal consequences associated with pre-pregnancy overweight in adolescent women. Methods Throughout five years, all singleton adolescent pregnant women with pre-pregnancy self-reported body mass index (BMI) of 18.5– ≤ 29.9 were involved during the first-trimester visit. Two groups were generated: overweight and appropriate-weight (BMI 25–29.9 and 18.5–24.9, respectively). Obstetric and neonatal outcomes were observed prospectively and statistically adjusted for the confounding factors. Results The overweight group (223 women) had significantly higher pregnancy weight gain, birth weight, and gestational age than the appropriate-weight group (621 women). Most obstetric outcomes occurred significantly in overweight women like primary Cesarean section (CS) [odds ratio (OR) (95%confidence interval (CI)) = 1.5 (1.06–2.2)], cephalopelvic disproportion [OR (95% CI) = 1.3 (1.1–1.8)], labor induction [OR (95% CI) = 1.2 (1.09–2.3)]. Regarding neonatal outcomes, macrosomia [OR (95% CI) = 1.6 (1.3–2.7)] and non-reassuring fetal status (NRFS) [OR (95% CI) = 1.1(1.0–1.7)] had higher statistical significance in overweight women. Oppositely, small for gestational age [OR (95% CI) = 0.7(0.4–0.9)] and low birth weight [OR (95% CI) = 0.5(0.3–0.8)] were more frequent in appropriate-weight women. Conclusion Overweight adolescent pregnant women exhibited significantly higher percentages of obstetrical outcomes, like as primary CS, failure to progress, labor induction, postdate delivery, gestational diabetes, and gestational hypertension. Additionally, elevated rates of neonatal complications were found, including macrosomia and NRFS.
The study aimed to identify the impact of the use of systemic approach in the collection of geographical material and cognitive motivation when fifth grade students of literary, experimental design researcher adopted a partial seizures, and telemetric to two unequal one experimental and the other officer.
The sample consisted of fifth grade literary students from secondary (inherent) for Boys in Baghdad (the Republic of Iraq. (By Mjootain, and the number of students of each group (30 students). BACKGROUND: Many genetic factors are known to be related to osteoporosis, and currently the role of the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) gene in bone health has been studied intensively. Some variation of this gene, such as rs1042044 and rs6458093, are known to be linked to metabolic diseases and lower bone mineral density, however their specific contribution to osteoporosis remains largely unexplored. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the combined genotypic effect of rs1042044 and rs6458093 as a genetic risk factor for osteoporosis in postmenopausal Iraqi women.METHODS: Blood samples from 75 osteoporosis patients and 75 healthy controls, aged 45-85, were collected. DNA was extracted, and a region of GLP-1R

One of the most common non-nutritive sucking habits is pacifier; its prevalence varies from one population to another. This study was conducted to determine the prevalence of pacifier sucking habit among children aged 1-5 years old in Baghdad city and to assess its effect on the occlusion of primary dentition concerning posterior crossbite. Materials and methods: The study was carried out among 1222 children aged 1-5 years old, from which 50 children with continues pacifier sucking habit were chosen to be the study group, compared to 50 children without any sucking habit (control group) matching the study group in age and gender. Children were examined clinically t

After the extraction, the analyte was desorbed using ultrasonication and was analyzed using high performance liquid chromatography. Under the optimized conditions, the detection limits of OTA for coffee, grape juice and urine were 0.06 ng g−1, 0.02 and 0.02 ng mL−1, respectively while the quantification limits were 0.19 ng g−1, 0.06 and 0.08 ng mL−1, respectively. The recoveries of OTA from coffee spiked at 1, 25 and 50 ng g−1, grape juice and urine samples at 1, 25 and 50 ng mL

First by growing its profits, then by evading taxes and denying the state its right to its money. Using this research, we hope to demonstrate how financial institutions that use innovative accounting tools in the preparation of their financial statements impact trade activity. Trading volume is critical to accurately forecasting stock price patterns, allowing investors to maximize their wealth. So, without accounting information, the financial
