Background: The study's objective was to estimate the effects of radiation on testosterone-related hormones and blood components in prostate cancer patients. N Materials and Method: This study aims to investigate the effects of radiation on 20 male prostate cancer patients at the Middle Euphrates Oncology Centre. Blood samples were collected before and after radiation treatment, with a total dose of 60- 70 Gy, The blood parameters were analyzed. The hospital laboratory conducted the blood analysis using an analyzer (Diagon D-cell5D) to test blood components before and after radiation. Hormonal examinations included testosterone levels, using the VIDASR 30 for Multiparametric immunoassay system Results: The study assessed the socio-demography of prostate cancer male patients, revealing that the majority were aged 69.55 t 10.76 years, with a weight of 75.3 t 10.84 Kg and height of 170.50 t 8.70 cm. The stage of cancer was assessed, with 25% of patients being IV and IIV, followed by II, IB, and V. Only one patient was at stage III. The Gleason Score (GS) was used to classify patients, with 40% being given a score of 7, followed by 6, 8, and 9 equally (20%). Total Prostate-specific Antigen (PSA) had a mean value of 12.87 t 2.78. Hematological analysis showed a significant decrease in random blood sugar levels, white blood cells, lymphocytes platelets, and hemoglobin levels after radiotherapy. Testosterone levels also declined after radiotherapy fractions. However, kidney functions like urea and creatinine levels increased after pelvic irradiation Conclusion: The study found that radiation treatment for prostate cancer significantly impacted blood components and hormones associated with testosterone. It led to reduced levels of random blood sugar, white blood cells, lymphocytes, platelets, haemoglobin, and testosterone. Additionally, high-energy therapeutic x-rays increased_ levels of urea and creatinine, indicating the need for strict monitoring and management of adverse effects.
Drug resistance is a hot topic issue in cancer research and therapy. Although cancer therapy including radiotherapy and anti‐cancer drugs can kill malignant cells within the tumor, cancer cells can develop a wide range of mechanisms to resist the toxic effects of anti‐cancer agents. Cancer cells may provide some mechanisms to resist oxidative stress and escape from apoptosis and attack by the immune system. Furthermore, cancer cells may resist senescence, pyroptosis, ferroptosis, necroptosis, and autophagic cell death by modulating several critical genes. The development of these mechanisms leads to resistance to anti‐cancer drugs and also radiotherapy. Resistance to therapy can increase mortal
BACKGROUND: Montelukast (Singulair) is a cysteinyl leukotriene receptor antagonist, used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis and asthma, also used for exercise-induced bronchospasm. AIM: This study was performed to determine the prevalence of Montelukast use as an add-on therapy among Iraqi asthmatic patients on treatment. Comparing the effectiveness of regimens with and without montelukast. METHODS: This descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out on 73 Iraqi asthmatic patients on treatment of both sexes with age range (18-60) years old, attending Al-Kindy Teaching Hospital and Al-Zahraa Centre of Asthma and Allergy, Baghdad, for the period between February

The study aims at showing the role of tax audit in Impact the quality of tax statements. Tax audit is one of the most important means used by tax management to identify taxable revenues in a just, fair manner. The quality of statements relies on the extent to which the information provided by taxpayers is true and accurate. Tax audit works is compatible with the strategy of increasing tax adherence and detecting non-adherence cases and penalizing those who commit such violations. The study reached a number of results and conclusions. One of the most important results is that tax audit helps improve the information content of the taxpayers tax statements. This leads to recalculating taxable incomes and re-fixing t

The focus of this study is on the development of industrial products that utilize virtual reality technology, specifically examining the effects of this technology on the visual and design aspects of these products. The aim is to continuously improve the functionality of industrial products and enhance the user experience through virtual reality integration.
The first chapter of the study addresses the research problem, which centers around exploring the technological influence of virtual reality used in industrial products and understanding the functionalities it brings to the design process. Virtual reality technology facilitates th
Image fusion is one of the most important techniques in digital image processing, includes the development of software to make the integration of multiple sets of data for the same location; It is one of the new fields adopted in solve the problems of the digital image, and produce high-quality images contains on more information for the purposes of interpretation, classification, segmentation and compression, etc. In this research, there is a solution of problems faced by different digital images such as multi focus images through a simulation process using the camera to the work of the fuse of various digital images based on previously adopted fusion techniques such as arithmetic techniques (BT, CNT and MLT), statistical techniques (LMM,

Deep learning algorithms, which auto-solve problems when giving large sets of data, are used to swap faces in digital media to create fake media with a realistic appearance. To increase the accuracy of distinguishing a real video from fake one, a new model has been developed based on deep learning and noise residuals. By using Steganalysis Rich Model (SRM) filters, we can gather a low-level noise map that is used as input to a light Convolution neural network (CNN) to classify a real face from fake one. The results of our work show that the training accuracy of the CNN model
