This paper presents the synthesis and study of some new mixed-liagnd complexes containing tow amino acids[Alanine(Ala) and phenylalanine (phe)] with some metals . The results products were found to be solid crystalline complexes which have been characterized by using (FT-IR,UV-Vis) spectra , melting point, elemental analysis (C.H.N) , molar conductivity and solubilty The proposed structure of the complexes using program , chem office 3D(2000) . The general formula have been given for the prepared complexes : [M(A-H)(phe-H)] M(II): Hg , Mn ,Co , Ni , Cu ) , Zn , Cd(II) . Ala = Alanine acid = C3H7NO2 Phe = phenylalanine = C9H11NO2

Newly acid hydrazide was synthesized from ethyl 2-(2,3-dimethoxyphenoxy) acetate (2), which is cyclized to the corresponding  4-amino-1,2,4-triazole (3). Five newly azo derivatives (4a-e) were synthesized from this 1,2,4-triazole by converting the amine group to diazonium salt then reacted with various substituent phenol,as well three newly imine derivatives (5a-c) were synthesized from reacting the amine group of compound (3) with three aryl aldehyde. The thermal electro conductivity of these compounds was tested at 30, 50, 75 and 100 áµ’C. compound 4a showed interesting electro conductivity at 75áµ’C as well 5a at 75áµ’C while 5b showed significant conductivity at 100 áµ’C

The antimicrobial potency of the crude ethanolic extracts from different Iraqi plants were evaluated . Further more, total sesquiterpene lactones and phenolic compounds were isolated and their antimicrobial activity attempted. The results indicated that crude extracts have no activity except that of Callistemon lanceolatus. Also, the sesquiterpene lactones and phenolic compounds isolated from Callistemon lanceolatus were the most significant antimicrobial active constituents of the studied plants.

The researchers adopt an emerging branch of stylistics, called Critical Stylistics, as proposed by Jeffries (2010) in order to uncover the ideologies of the author regarding the topic concerned and how linguistic choices are used to slant ideas. The model is comprised of ten tools of analysis which, upon being applied to the selected data, have shown how the poet exploits language resources in order to pass his ideology and influence his readers. Abstract Objective: The underlying molecular basis of ischemic heart diseases (IHDs) has not yet been studied among Iraqi people. This study determined the frequency and types of some cardiovascular genetic risk factors among Iraqi patients with IHDs. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study recruiting 56 patients with acute IHD during a 2-month period excluding patients >50 years and patients with documented hyperlipidemia.
