Throughout this paper R represents commutative ring with identity, and M is a unitary left R-module. The purpose of this paper is to study a new concept, (up to our knowledge), named a semi-extending modules, as generalization of extending modules, where an Rmodule M is called semi-extending if every sub module of M is a semi-essential in a direct summand of M. Various properties of semi-extending module are considered. Moreover, we investigate the relationships between semi-extending modules and other related concepts, such as CLS-modules and FI- extending modules.

A non-zero submodule N of M is called essential if N L for each non-zero submodule L of M. And a non-zero submodule K of M is called semi-essential if K P for each non-zero prime submodule P of M. In this paper we investigate a class of submodules that lies between essential submodules and semi-essential submodules, we call these class of submodules weak essential submodules.

In this paper, some properties and characterizations of semi-bounded modules are given. Also, various basic results about semi-bounded modules are considered. This study analyzes translations of the Quran into Spanish with a focus on the use of the subjunctive. A corpus analysis was performed comparing five different translations of the Quran. The results reveal significant differences in the use of the subjunctive in translations. Differences in the use of the subjunctive reflect variations in interpretation and fidelity to the rhetorical purposes of the original text. This study provides a basis for improving the accuracy of religious translations.

The oxidation desulphurization assisted by ultrasound waves was applied to the desulphurization of heavy naphtha. Hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid were used as oxidants, ultrasound waves as phase dispersion, and activated carbon as solid adsorbent. When the oxidation desulphurization (ODS) process was followed by a solid adsorption step, the performance of overall Sulphur removal was 89% for heavy naphtha at the normal condition of pressure and temperature.
