Far infrared photoconductive detectors based on multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were fabricated and their characteristics were tested. MWCNTs films deposited on porous silicon (PSi) nanosurface by dip and drop coating techniques. Two types of deposited methods were used; dip coating sand drop –by-drop methods. As well as two types of detector were fabricated one with aluminum mask and the other without, and their figures of merits were studied. The detectors were illuminated by 2.2 and 2.5 Watt from CO2 of 10.6 m and tested. The surface morphology for the films is studied using AFM and SEM micrographs. The films show homogeneous distributed for CNTs on the PSi layer. The root mean square (r.m.s.) of the films surface roughness indicates a smooth surface of the synthesized films. The Raman spectrum at room temperature for MWCNTs, are dominated by the two typical lines at about 1335.4 cm-1 (D line) and 1563.2 cm-1 (G line) assigned to the disorder induced by defects and curvature in the nanotubes lattice, and to the in-plane vibration of the C–C bonds, respectively. The results reflect a good IR radiation sensitivity and photoconductive gain, while the specific detectivity was in order of 107 cm.Hz1/2/W.
The increasing complexity of assaults necessitates the use of innovative intrusion detection systems (IDS) to safeguard critical assets and data. There is a higher risk of cyberattacks like data breaches and unauthorised access since cloud services have been used more frequently. The project's goal is to find out how Artificial Intelligence (AI) could enhance the IDS's ability to identify and classify network traffic and identify anomalous activities. Online dangers could be identified with IDS. An intrusion detection system, or IDS, is required to keep networks secure. We must create efficient IDS for the cloud platform as well, since it is constantly growing and permeating more aspects of our daily life. However, using standard intrusion
... Show MoreVisible light communication (VLC) is an upcoming wireless technology for next-generation communication for high-speed data transmission. It has the potential for capacity enhancement due to its characteristic large bandwidth. Concerning signal processing and suitable transceiver design for the VLC application, an amplification-based optical transceiver is proposed in this article. The transmitter consists of a driver and laser diode as the light source, while the receiver contains a photodiode and signal amplifying circuit. The design model is proposed for its simplicity in replacing the trans-impedance and transconductance circuits of the conventional modules by a simple amplification circuit and interface converter. ... Show MoreAccurate emotion categorization is an important and challenging task in computer vision and image processing fields. Facial emotion recognition system implies three important stages: Prep-processing and face area allocation, feature extraction and classification. In this study a new system based on geometric features (distances and angles) set derived from the basic facial components such as eyes, eyebrows and mouth using analytical geometry calculations. For classification stage feed forward neural network classifier is used. For evaluation purpose the Standard database "JAFFE" have been used as test material; it holds face samples for seven basic emotions. The results of conducted tests indicate that the use of suggested distances, angles

As the article suggests, it is a pathway between the signals created by a human brain thinking and the computer, which can translate the signal transmitted into action. BCI-processed brain activity is typically measured using EEG. Throughout this article, further intend to provide an available and up-to-date review of EEG-based BCI, concentrating on its technical aspects. In specific, we present several essential neuroscience backgrounds that describe well how to build an EEG-based BCI, including evaluating which signal processing, software, and hardware techniques to use. ... Show MorePC-based controller is an approach to control systems with Real-Time parameters by controlling selected manipulating variable to accomplish the objectives. Shell and tube heat exchanger have been identified as process models that are inherently nonlinear and hard to control due to unavailability of the exact models’ descriptions. PC and analogue input output card will be used as the controller that controls the heat exchanger hot stream to the desired temperature.
The control methodology by using four speed pump as manipulating variable to control the temperature of the hot stream to cool to the desired temperature.
In this work, the dynamics of cross flow shell and tube heat exchanger is modeled from step changes in cold water f
Semantic segmentation realization and understanding is a stringent task not just for computer vision but also in the researches of the sciences of earth, semantic segmentation decompose compound architectures in one elements, the most mutual object in a civil outside or inside senses must classified then reinforced with information meaning of all object, it’s a method for labeling and clustering point cloud automatically. Three dimensions natural scenes classification need a point cloud dataset to representation data format as input, many challenge appeared with working of 3d data like: little number, resolution and accurate of three Dimensional dataset . Wireless channels are typically much more noisy than wired links and subjected to fading due to multipath propagation which result in ISI and hence high error rate. Adaptive modulation is a powerful technique to improve the tradeoff between spectral efficiency and Bit Error Rate (BER). In order to adjust the transmission rate, channel state information (CSI) is required at the transmitter side.
In this paper the performance enhancement of using linear prediction along with channel estimation to track the channel variations and adaptive modulation were examined. The simulation results shows that the channel estimation is sufficient for low Doppler frequency shifts (<30 Hz), while channel prediction is much more suited at
