Organizational socialization is an mediator to the effect of Plateaus and workaholism in employees loyalty

The research aimed to test the effect of independent variables career plateaus and workaholism on employees loyalty through the influence of the mediator variable organizational socialization. Descriptive approach with survey style   on a sample of managers and executives in the Iraqi Drilling Company in Basra's (123) employees. The most important findings of the research are: the existence of a significant effect of the independent variables career plateaus and workaholism in employees loyalty by having a mediator variable organizational socialization and introduced numerical from recommendations.                    &nbs

Biological versus Topological Domains in Improving the Reliability of Evolutionary-Based Protein Complex Detection Algorithms

     By definition, the detection of protein complexes that form protein-protein interaction networks (PPINs) is an NP-hard problem. Evolutionary algorithms (EAs), as global search methods, are proven in the literature to be more successful than greedy methods in detecting protein complexes. However, the design of most of these EA-based approaches relies on the topological information of the proteins in the PPIN. Biological information, as a key resource for molecular profiles, on the other hand, acquired a little interest in the design of the components in these EA-based methods. The main aim of this paper is to redesign two operators in the EA based on the functional domain rather than the graph topological domain. The perturb

The Relationship Between Infertility and Infection with Clarithromycin Resistant Strain of Helicobacter Pylori in Iraq

The relationship between infertility and Helicobacter pylori infection was investigated; samples from thirty-five infertile patients (aged 20-49 years) were collected from Kamal Al-Samaraei hospital , Baghdad, Iraq during the period from the first of February until April 2018. These patients were compared with 10 apparently fertile individuals who served as a control. The study was carried out to detect the DNA of H.pylori in both serum and seminal fluid of male infertile patients and for the control group by Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) technique. The results revealed that there was a significant difference (P<0.01) in the detection of DNA of H.pylori between pa

The Efficacy of Dextran 70 on Reticuloendothelial System in Systemically Infected Mice with Klebsiella Pneumoniae

The reticuloendothelial system (RES) play an important role in immunity against bacterial infection and Klebsiella pneumoniae one of the most common causes of hospital-acquired infections. Dextran70 (D70), a polysaccharide, may alter functions of this system through changing many biological activities in the tissues.

3D Seismic Structural Study of the Lower Cretaceous Sequence in Kifl oil field_ central Iraq

     This research focused up on the Seismic reflection study of a 268.7 km2 area located in the central of Iraq within the Karbala province (Kifl area). The seismic data were reprocessed by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and its partners Dome International and Vitol with OEC in 2005, the result of processing works has improved the quality of seismic sections in most of the study area.  The study area was interpreted by using 3-D seismic data from the Oil Exploration Company. By studying the seismic sections and applying seismic attributes (instantaneous phase) Faults were picked across 3D seismic volume of the studied reflectors. The study area affected by a major fault and minor normal faults, Two fa

Lithostratigraphy and Biostratigraphy of the Shiranish Formation (Late Campanian- Maastrichtian) in Diana area, Northern Iraq

       The lithostratigraphic and biostratigraphic studies of the Shiranish Formation in the Diana area, Erbil, Northern Iraq, were conducted to distinguish the main lithostratigraphic units, depositional environment and the formation age. The Shiranish Formation in the study area can be divided into three rock units. The lower and upper units consist of marly limestone, marl and limestone deposited in the outer shelf environment, while the middle unit is dominated by laminated calcareous shale and marl deposited in the upper bathyal environment. Calcareous nannofossils showed the presence of about 20 species/genera in the studied Shiranish Formation. Three biozones are identified; Misceomarginatus pleniporus biozone;

Artificial Intelligence Technology in the Field of Modern Forensic Evidence: Brain Fingerprinting as a Model

Brain Fingerprinting (BF) is one of the modern technologies that rely on artificial intelligence in the field of criminal evidence law. Brain information can be obtained accurately and reliably in criminal procedures without resorting to complex and multiple procedures or questions. It is not embarrassing for a person or even violates his human dignity, as well as gives immediate and accurate results. BF is considered one of the advanced techniques related to neuroscientific evidence that relies heavily on artificial intelligence, through which it is possible to recognize whether the suspect or criminal has information about the crime or not. This is done through Magnetic Resonance Imaging (EEG) of the brain and examining

Localization of the Optic Disc in Retinal Fundus Image using Appearance Based Method andVasculature Convergence

Optic Disc (OD) localization is a basic step for the screening, identification and appreciation of the risk of diverse ophthalmic pathologies such as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.In fact, the fundamental step towards an exact OD segmentation process is the success of OD localization. This paper proposes a fully automatic procedure for OD localization based on two of the OD most relevant features  of high-intensity value and vasculature convergence. Merging ofthese two features renders the proposed method capable of localizing the OD within the variously complicated environments such as the faint disc boundary, unbalanced shading, and the existence of retinal pathologies like cotton wall and exudates,which usually share the same
