One hundred and nine clinical lactose fermenter isolates were collected from different samples (urine, stool, wound swab, blood, and sputum) , in a period from February 2014 till May 2014. Out of 150 different specimens, 67 S. aureus isolate were isolated. However, 16sRNA gene was located only in 60 isolates. Moreover, mecA gene was located in 48 isolates; thereby MRSA covered 80% of all S. aureus isolates. Of considerable interest, pvl gene was detected in only six isolates (10%). Hence, the present work emphasizes the notion suggested that pvl is not an indicative of CA-MRSA.

The suggested technique includes reacting metoclopramide with NaNO2 in the presence of hydrochloric acid to produce diazonium salt, and then the drug methyldopa reacts with the diazonium salt to produce a yellow azo dye. The maximum wavelength of the dye was 458 nm. This method is effectively used for the determination of methyldopa in different pharmaceutical formulations.
