The study aims to investigate the relationship between the gender diversity of board director, the accounting conservatism and firm value in Iraqi firms. The sample was represented by 30 Iraqi firms listed on the Iraqi market over the period 2017. The research was based on the main hypothesis that gender diversity has a positive relationship with conservatism and firm value, that conservatism as an intermediate variable will enhance the positive relationship between gender diversity and firm value. DC glow discharges were generated between a thin cylindrical anode and a flat cathode, streamers are thought to propagate by photo-ionization; the parameters of photo-ionization depend on the He: CO ratio. Therefore we study streamers in He ( 90%, 80% and 70% ) with (10%, 20% and 30%) CO respectively. The streamer diameter is essentially the change by increase for similar voltage and pressure in all He-CO mixtures.

The esterification reaction of ethyl alcohol and acetic acid catalyzed by the ion exchange resin, Amberlyst 15, was investigated. The experimental study was implemented in an isothermal batch reactor. Catalyst loading, initial molar ratio, mixing time and temperature as being the most effective parameters, were extensively studied and discussed. A maximum final conversion of 75% was obtained at 70°C, acid to ethyl alcohol mole ratio of 1/2 and 10 g catalyst loading.
