This research aims to know the effectiveness of teaching with a proposed strategy according to the common Knowledge construction modelin mathematical proficiency among students of the second middle class. The researchers adopted the method of the experimental approach, as the experimental design was used for two independent and equal groups with a post-test. The experiment was applied to a sample consisting of (83) students divided into two groups: an experimental comprising (42) students and a control group, the second comprising (41) students., from Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab Intermediate School for Boys, for the first semester of the academic year (2021-2022), the two groups were rewarded in four variables: (chronological age calculated in months, previous achievement in mathematics, intelligence test, and information test in mathematical proficiency). The two research tools represented in the mathematical competency test with its cognitive domain and the product tendency scale that represents its emotional domain were built,Their validity was verified, and the reliability coefficient was calculated for them, and it was acceptable. The coefficients of difficulty, discrimination, and the effectiveness of wrong alternatives for the objective paragraphs of the mathematical proficiency test were also found, and all of them were also acceptable. One of the researchers taught the students of the research sample represented by the experimental and control groups during the period of the experiment, which started on Wednesday (10/11/2021) and ended on Monday (17/1/2022), and after the experiment ended, the two research tools were applied to the students of the research sample.. To treat the information statistically, the researchers used: (t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, alpha-Cronbach equation, difficulty coefficient equation, discrimination power coefficient equation, efficacy equation of wrong alternatives, Cooper equation, and Eta square equation). After analyzing the data, the results showed that there was a statistically significant difference in favor of the experimental group, as the value of the effect size was equal to (0.127), which is an average effect size that indicates the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
This study investigated the shear performance of concrete beams with GFRP stirrups vs. traditional steel stirrups. Longitudinal glass fiber‐reinforced polymer (GFRP) bars were used to doubly reinforce the tested beams at both the top and bottom of their cross sections. To accomplish this, several stirrup spacings were provided. Eight beam specimens, measuring 300 × 250 × 2400 mm, were used in an experimental program to test under a two‐point concentrated load with an equal span‐to‐depth ratio until failure. Four beams in Group I have standard mild steel stirrups of 8 mm diameter, while four beams in Group II have GFRP stirrups with the same adopted diameter. The difference betwe

The study aims to know the degree of secondary school managers' practice of servant leadership in Gaza from their teachers’ perspective. It further aims to examine whether there are any statistically significant differences at (α 0.05≥) between the means of the study sample’s members attributed to variables such as (gender, educational qualification, and years of experience). To achieve the objectives of the study, the study adopted the descriptive survey method, using a questionnaire consisting of (30) items distributed to four domains: (workers service, ethical dealing, motivation & influence, and building an organized, integrated society). Then, the questionnaire was distributed to t

The tax is imposed on what is derived from it, but if there is a need to prejudice it, the conditions, limits and restrictions expressly stipulated in the

Show MoreEarth cover of the city of Baghdad was studied exclusively within its administrative border during the period 1986-2019 using satellite scenes every five years, as Landsat TM5 and OLI8 satellite images were used. The land has been classified into ten subclasses according to the characteristics of the land cover and was classified using the Maximum Likelihood classifier. A study of the changing urban reality of the city of Baghdad during that period and the change of vegetation due to environmental factors, human influences and some human phenomena that affected the accuracy of the classification for some areas east of the city of Baghdad is presented. The year 2019 has been highlighted because of its privacy in changing the land cover of th

hardness (1000-1100) HV was used as abrasive material. The abrasive wear of these pipes has been measured experimentally by measuring the wear rate for each case under different sliding speeds, applied loads, and sand conditions (dry or wet). All tests have been conducted using sand of particle size (200-425) µm, ambient temperature of 34.5 °C and humidity 22% (Lab conditions).
The results show that the material loss due to abrasive wear increased monotonically with
Abstract
The study aims to identify the extent to which the applied colleges at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences meet the comprehensive quality standards in light of the national education strategy for the 2040 Vision in the Sultanate of Oman. To do this, the researchers used the descriptive approach. They used a questionnaire as a tool for data collection that was applied to (237) administrators, academics, and support functions. The study found that the extent to which the applied colleges at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences meet the comprehensive quality standards in the light of the National Education Strategy 2040 in the Sultanate of Oman recorded a high range. We used a mathematical model and motion measurements of a human arm to estimate joint torque as a means to control the exoskeleton’s actuator. The proposed arm model is based on a two-pendulum configuration and is used to obtain instantaneous joint torques which are then passed into control law to regulate the actuator torque. Nine subjects volunteered to take part in the experimental protocol, in which inertial measurement units (IMUs) and a digital goniometer were used to measure and estimate the torque profiles. To validate the control law, a Simscape model was developed to simulate the arm model and control law in which measurem

Show MoreTo develop a petrol engine so that it works under the bi-engine pattern (producer gas-petrol) without any additional engine modifications, a single-point injection method inside the intake manifold is a simple and inexpensive method. Still, it leads to poor mixing performance between the air and producer gas. This deficiency can cause unsatisfactory engine performance and high exhaust emissions. In order to improve the mixing inside the intake manifold, nine separate cases were modelled to evaluate the impact of the position and angle orientation inside the intake manifold on the uniformity and spread of the mixture under AFR=2.07. A petrol engine (1.6 L), the maximum engine speed (8000 rpm), and bi-engine mode (petrol-producer ga
