Optical spectrum of SN1987A at days 4 from the explosion and its light curve through the first 1444 days after the explosion have been studied. The hydrogen lines present in the spectrum confirms the general characteristics of Type II SN that occur due to core collapse of massive star. The curing process of epoxy resin was investigated with some additives and fillers such as nano fumed silica with primary particle diameter of 56–58 nanometers, fine ferric oxide with an average particle diameter of 0.4 micrometer, fine calcium carbonate with an average particle diameter of 0.58 micrometer, and plasticizer, a new composite resin has been obtained. Ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP) occurring after two days of mechanical ventilation and it is the most nosocomial infection seen in the intensive care unit .The establishment of an accurate diagnosis of ventilator associated pneumonia remains problematic and yet there is still no accepted "gold standard" for the diagnosis.

      This paper introduces method of image enhancement using the combination of both wavelet and Multiwavelet transformation. New technique is proposed for image enhancement using one smoothing filter.

    A critically- Sampled Scheme of preprocessing method is used for computing the Multiwavelet.It is the 2^nd norm approximation used to speed the procedures needed for such computation.

  An improvement was achieved with the proposed method in comparison with the conventional method. 

The performance of this technique has been done by computer using Visual Baisec.6 package.
