Equilibrium adsorption isotherm for the removal of trifluralin from aqueous solutions using ? –alumina clay has been studied. The result shows that the isotherms were S3 according Giels classification. The effects of various experimental parameters such as contact time, adsorbent dosage, effect of pH and temperature of trifluralin on the adsorption capacities have been investigated. The adsorption isotherms were obtained by obeying freundlich adsorption isotherm with (R2 = 0.91249-0.8149). The thermodynamic parameters have been calculated by using the adsorption process at five different temperature, the values of ?H, ?G and ?S were (_1.0625) kj. mol-1, (7.628 - 7.831) kj.mol-1 and (_2.7966 - _2.9162) kg.

Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Cr(III) metal complexes with the ligand (L) [3-(2nitro benzylidene) amino-2-thioxoimidazolidin-4-one] have been prepared and characterized in their solid state using the elemental micro analysis (C.H.N.S), flame atomic absorption, UV-Vis spectroscopy, FT-IR, magnetic susceptibility measurements, and electrical molar conductivity. The ratio of metal to ligand [M:L] was got for all complexes in the ethanol by using the molar ratio method, which produced comparable results with those results obtained for the solid complexes. From the data of all techniques, octahedral geometry was proposed for Cr(III), Mn(II), and Co(II) complexes, while tetrahedral structure was proposed for Ni(II), Cu(II) complexes.

Many international studies indicated that the polymorphisms of some genes disturbed the folate homocysteine (Hcy) metabolism and increased the vulnerability to Down syndrome (DS). We aimed to measure the serum levels of folate and Hcy in DS children and compare the levels with age and sex-matched apparently normal healthy children. We also aimed to study the A80G polymorphism of the gene reduced folate carrier (RFC1) in the DS children as a risk factor. All the studied groups were carried out to measure anti-tissue transglutaminase antibodies IgA and IgG by ELISA test and anti-endomysial antibodies IgA and IgG by IIFT.
