The study aims to identify the acceptability of drinking water for human consumption depend on Iraqi specification and WHO standards. Samples collected monthly for each station from March to December2014. The samples collected from six stations distributed in Baghdad City, the first two stations located in al-Kadmyai area , the 3rd and 4th located in AL- Doora while the last two stations located in Al-Amryai area. The study measured physical, chemical and bacteriological factors. The measured parameters were ranged each for pH 6.63-7, turbidity 0.4-1.3NTU,TDS394.2-960mg/l,total hardness 259.1-578while Ca and Mg were 43-134,20.1-72 mg /l respectively. Other chemical parameters like chloride ranged from 56.8-184 mg/l and heavy metals range

Objective: to correlate the clinical characteristics of patients with COPD with imaging classification into phenotypes.
Patients and Methods: Thirty patients with stable COPD were examined by chest CT. Bronchial wall thickness is evaluated by measuring the wall area percentage by identifying the trunk of the apical bronchus of the right upper lobe, while the extent of emphysema was assessed using the percentage of lung voxels with X-ray attenuation values less than -950 HU {automatically calculated by special software}.<
This paper presents an efficient system using a deep learning algorithm that recognizes daily activities and investigates the worst falling cases to save elders during daily life. This system is a physical activity recognition system based on the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) and uses convolutional neural networks (CNNets) that learn features and classifiers automatically. The test data include the elderly who live alone. The performance of CNNets is compared against that of state-of-the-art methods, such as activity windowing, fixed sample windowing, time-weighted windowing, mutual information windowing, dynamic windowing, fixed time windowing, sequence prediction algorithm, and conditional random fields. The colloidal gold nanoparticles were characterized by SEM, EDX, and UV-VIS absorption spectroscopy. It was found that the variation of reduction time from boiling point affects the size of the nanoparticles and also in chemical reduction approach the size of nanoparticles can be controlled by varying the amount of variation the volume of reductant material with respect to the volume of HAuCL4.
Irinotecan induced-mucositis is an inflammatory event of intestine caused by an increase in concentration of active metabolite 7ethyl10-hydroxycamptothecin (SN38) in the intestine. Irinotecan must first be converted by a carboxylesterase (CES) to the active metabolite (SN38), which is subsequently glucuronidated by the hepatic enzyme to SN38G. The SN-38G is deconjugated in the intestine to SN-38 via ?-glucuronidase produced by the intestinal bacterial flora, which accounts for SN-38 delayed intestinal mucositis of irinotecan. To study the protective effect of mentha in irinotecan-induced mucositis, intestinal mucositis induced by I.P injection of irinotecan (75mg/Kg/day) for 4 days. Mentha ethanolic extract orally administered to

Three YATOR funnel traps were used in each of these sites which baited with the specific pheromone of A. lineatus from the first of March to the end of October in the College of Agriculture - Abu- Ghraib / Provenance of Baghdad and AL-Nile / Provenance of Babylon , while in AL-Radhwania was used through May- June. Pheromone dispenser were changed every 6 weeks in each of these traps . Males of A. lineatus were found in all of the three sites , and the total number capture were 208 , 897 and 57 male / 3 traps / season in College of Agriculture , AL-Nile and AL-Radhwania respectiv

The results showed a significant increase in MDA in three stages of pregnancy compared with the control group. The concentration of MDA increased significantly in pregnant women with multipregnancy when compared with pregnant women for the first time, and in pregnant women whom was using contraceptions compared with p

It is critical to make observations of CO (J = 1-0) line emission for spiral galaxies, particularly those with an energetic nucleus. In the sample of spiral galaxies compiled, a carbon monoxide CO (1-0) emission line can be observed. This sample of galaxies' gas kinematics and star-forming should be analyzed statistically utilizing appropriate atomic gas HI, molecular gas H2, infrared (1μm-1000μm), visual (at λblue-optical=4400A0), and radio spectrum (at νradio=1.4 GHz and 5GHz) databases. STATISTICA is software that allows us to perform this statistical

Present results showed poisonous effect of N. sativa alcoholic extract that was prepared in laboratory and imported at concentrations (450, 550, 650 and 750) mg/ml on T. vaginalis by observing gradual decrease of trophozoite numbers with concentrate increase of extra

These barriers can affect drug entry into the eye following multiple routes of administration (e.g., topical, systemic, and injectable). Topical administration in the form of eye drops is preferred for treating anterior segment diseases, as it is convenient and provides local delivery of drugs. Major concerns with topical delivery include poor drug absorption and low bioavailability. To improve the bioavailability of topically administered drugs, novel drug delivery systems are being investigated. Nanocarrier delivery systems demonstrate enhanced drug permeation and prolonged drug release. This review provides an overview of ocular barr
