Laboratory model tests were performed to investigate the behavior of shallow and inclined skirted foundations placed on sandy soil with R.D%=30 and the extent of the impact of the positive and negative eccentric-inclined loading effect on them. To achieve the experimental tests, it was used a box of (600×600) mm cross-sectional and 600mm in height and a square footing of (50*50) mm and 10 mm in thickness attached to the skirt with Ds=0.5B and various an angle of (10°, 20°, 30°). The results showed that using skirts leads to a significant improvement in load-carrying capacity and decreased settlement. In addition, when the skirt angle increased, the ultimate load improved. Load-carrying capacity decreased with increasing eccentricity and load inclination. For load inclination (Beta) 15° when the eccentricity changed from e=0.15B to e=0.05B, the load improvement percentages were (323.2 to 263%) and (214 to 220%). The settlement reduction factor was (83 to 78%) and (62 to 58%) for positive and negative eccentric-inclined loading, respectively. Also, the result showed that the positive effect on reducing soil-bearing capacity is more than the negative. Increasing eccentricity increases the improvement percentage for positive eccentric-inclined load and decreases for the case of negative eccentric-inclined load. Increased skirt angle will increase the Improvement factor (IR). When the skirt angle increased from 10° to 30° for an improved foundation with load angles of 5°, 10°, and 15°, the improvement factor (IR) increased from (2.53, 2.51, 2.4) to (3.45, 3.65, 3.97) and (2.43, 2.58, 2.54) to (4, 4.63, 5.3) for both negative and positive eccentric-inclined load respectively and settlement reduction factor for load angle 15° and skirt angle increase from 10° to 30° were 34% and 27% for positive and negative eccentric-inclined load respectively. The (IR) for the positive eccentric-inclined load is more than the negative eccentric-inclined load for all cases. In addition, the skirt angle of 30° significantly improved the improvement factor (IR).
Abstract:
Witness the current business environment changes rapidly reflected on the performance of the facility wishing to stay , which is no longer style reaction enough to handle installations with their environment , and quickly began to lose its luster with the emergence of a message and the vision of contemporary business environment from a set of parts interacting with each other and the concept of behavioral includes all dimensions of performance, it is imperative to adopt a system installations influence variables and positive interaction through the development of strategic plans and the use of implementation and follow-up strategies to ensure the effectiveness of the method for meas

Aim of this study is evaluated effect of gender, age and tooth loss in area of maxillary central incisors teeth on the dimensions of incisive canal and buccal bone anterior to the canal using spiral computed tomography. Materials and Methods: Sample consists of prospective study for 156 subjects for both gender, they divided into two groups, 120 dentate group (60 male and 60 female) with age ranging from (20-70) and 36 edentate group (with missing maxillary central incisors) (18 male and 18 female) with age ranging from (50-70

Therefore, the researchers decided to identify the type of relationship between the motor response speed with the performance accuracy of the skills of passing from the top and the smash serve in volleyball. The research aims to: 1. Identifying the motor response speed of fourth-stage s

Ten strains belonged to the genus Halococcus which included Hc. morrhuae Hc. saccharolyticus. Growth curves were sensitive mutants determined for wild type and salt Generation time in logarthmic phase was measured and found to be (10.37 2hr 7 0.59) for Hb. salinarium / 18 (6.490 hr 0.24) for Hb. cutirubrum / 32, (6.700 hr + 0.488) for Hb. valismortis / 20, (11.243 hr + 0.96) for Hb. volcanii / 7. The researchers used the descriptive approach in the correlative relationships style for its suitability and the research problem. The researchers determined the research community by the intentional method represented by (10) young female shooters who represent the national team with air rifle shooting effectiveness, and who represent (100%) of the research community. Nevertheless, the research problem lies in diagnosing the most acceptable specializations in the labor market and determining the reasons for students’ reluctance to enter some departments. Furthermore, the (Win4DEAp) program was used to measure technical and scale efficiency (SE) and rely on

This evolution included the sports field, which had a large space in the aspect of development and for all disciplines, Therefore, it's reflected today in what we see of records and advanced achievements in sporting events and activities. The development in the field of sports was the result of scientific research (Hussein and Jawad., 2022), where the interest in the training process has become one of the most important pillars of the development of achievement (Neamah and Altay., 2020). The shooting sport has also witnessed a remarkable development due to the diversity and development of its
