The development of thyroid gland in five developmental stages of common carp, Cyprinus carpio L. The thyroid originates from the pharyngeal floor as a median ventral keel in late embryos having four pairs of arches. It differentiates into profollicular aggergations and true follicles with flattened walls and empty lumina or with lumina filled with cotton waste-like material in three days-old elvers. Secretion of homogeneous eosinophilic colloid with a limited increase in the height of follicular wall is noted in five days-old elvers. In nine days-old individuals the follicles increase in size due to coallescence. The thyroid gland reaches its maximal activity as judged by its histology in one-two months-old individuals. The gland is of t

Considering the expanding frequency of breast cancer and high incidence of vitamin D3 [25(OH)D3] insufficiently, this investigate pointed to explain a relation between serum [25(OH)D3] (the sunshine vitamin) level and breast cancer hazard. The current study aimed to see how serum levels of each [25(OH)D3], HbA1c%, total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and triglyceride (TG) were affected a woman’s risk of getting breast cancer. In 40 healthy volunteers and 69 untreated breast cancer patients with clinical and histological evidence which include outpatients and hospitalized admissions patients at the Oncology Center, Medical City / Baghdad - Iraq. A total of 105 commercial Lohmann Brown laying hens were used and divided into seven treatment groups (15 hens per group), which were T1: control group fed basal diet; T2: AD3E (1 g/kg feed) + basal diet, T3: folic acid (15 mg/kg feed) + basal diet T4: Zn (120 mg/kg feed) + Se (0.2 mg/kg feed) + basal diet, T5: AD3E + folic acid + basal diet, T6: AD3E + Se + Zn + basal diet, T7: AD3E + folic acid

The study was conducted in the Department of Animal Production, College of Agriculture, Tikrit University for the period from 19/3/2023 to 17/9/2024. It aimed to evaluate the coating of hatching eggs with Nano-TiO2 and Nano-SiO2 particles and their mixture with carboxymethyl cellulose CMC on the qualities of hatching percentage, embryo growth inside the egg, as well as trying to obtain the best and longest storage method for fert

Ibuprofen ester was synthesized by linking the carboxylic moiety of ibuprofen and the hydroxylic group of paracetamol to reduce its side effect. Study the kinetic hydrolysis of prepared ester was examined at different values of physiological pH (1.0, 5.8, 6.4 and 7.4) at 37 ± 0.1 of 1 hour period. Measurements of absorbance were carried out by UV-Visible spectrophotometer to follow the stability of ester, it showed Pseudo first order hydrolysis. The pH- apparent rate profiles of ester was exhibited a good stability at pH 1.0 and pH 5.8. Pharmacological activity in vivo of prepared ester was evaluated in re
