The most common cause of death is cardiovascular disease (CVD), with ischemic heart disease being the most notable type.  There is a propensity to raise the sensitivity of methods in contemporary laboratory for diagnosing of CVD, and assessing key as CVD bio-indicators.   The research aims to measure  the efficiency of health services Quality  in the province of Karbala, using the Data Envelopment analysis Models in ( 2006). According to these models the degree of efficiency ranging between zero and unity. We estimate Scale efficiency  for two types of orientation direction, which are input and output oriented direction.

  The results showed, according Input-oriented efficiency that the levels of Scale efficiency on average is ( 0.975), in the province of Karbala. While the index of Output-oriented efficiency on average is (o.946).

The study aimed to introduce the effect of Giardia lamblia infection on changes in
some biochemical parameters in serum of infected patients before and after treatment during a
period of one year, (from Feb, 2008 to Jan, 2009).
Samples of 50 infected patients who referred to Al-Kadimiyah Teaching Hospital,
were collected before and after 7 days of treatment.
The activity of liver enzymes (Gpt and Got) before treatment increased significantly as
it reached up to (8.47) u/L and 19.06 u/L, comparing with control values (6.455) u/L and
(8.39) u/L respectively. The activity of the enzymes decreased after treatment but the values
of Gpt and Got remained higher than the control values as reached 7-27 u/L, 11-64 u/L

This work is focused on the design parameters and activity of artificial human finger for seven grips. At first, obtained the ideal kinematics of human fingers motion by analyzing the grips video which were recorded using a single digital camera recorder fitted on a tripod in sagital plane while the hand is moving. Special motion analysis software (Dartfish) the finger joint angles were studied using the video recording. Then the seven grips were modeled using static torque analysis, which calculates the amount of torque applied on the fingers joint grip depending on the results of the kinematic analysis.
