This study analyzes the stylistic features of euphemisms in feminist discourse, based on material from the contemporary Russian press of the period (2015–2025). The central issue lies in how the linguistic devices used to soften the harshness and confrontation in discourse contribute to shaping a distinct feminine communicative style within media discourse, where the context necessitates combining the expression of the author\\'s position with maintaining a harmonious interaction with the wider audience. This study aims to uncover and classify the stylistic mechanisms of euphemism at the lexical-grammatical, syntactic, and pragmatic levels, as well as to determine its role in constructing gendered linguistic behavior. The research findings revealed that women\\'s journalistic discourse is characterized by the prevalence of strategies oriented towards linguistic refinement, empathy, and dialogism. This is evident in the frequent use of input indicators that suggest ambiguity and uncertainty, particles of emotional affinity, euphemisms, interrogative and conditional structures, balanced agreement formulas, and expressions of solidarity and collective identity. These devices not only reduce the potential threat to the recipient\\'s \\"image\\" but also contribute to building a communicative tone based on trust, emotional engagement, and the formation of a positive image of the writer. The study\\'s results indicate the growing socio-organizational function of euphemisms in media discourse as an indicator of women\\'s communicative style, reflecting cultural expectations associated with tact and harmony in interpersonal relationships. The importance of this research lies in providing a comprehensive description of the pragmatic and figurative effects of euphemisms in contemporary women\\'s journalistic discourse in recent years, thus enabling a deeper understanding of the dynamics of gender-related stylistics in modern public communication.
Background: Glass ionomer restorations are widely employed in the field of pediatric dentistry. There is a constant demand for a durable restoration that remains functional until exfoliation. This study aimed to measure and compare the effect of a novel coating material (EQUIA Forte Coat) on the microleakage of glass hybrid restoration (EQUIA Forte HT) in primary teeth. Material and method: Thirty cavitated (class-II) primary molars were allocated randomly into two groups based on the coat application; uncoated (control) and coated group (experimental). Cavities were prepared by the use of a ceramic bur (CeraBur) and restored with EQUIA Forte HT with or without applying a protective coat (EQUIA Forte Coat). Samples went through the therm

Language and politics go hand in hand and learning and comprehending political genre is to learn a language created for codifying, extending and transmitting political discourse in any text/talk. Drawing upon the theoretical framework of Fairclough’s CDA and Rhetoric, the current study aims at investigating Donald Trump’s First Speech, from the point of frequency and functions of some rhetorical strategies (Parallelism, Anaphora and the Power of Three, Antithesis and Expletive, etc.), Nominalization, Passivization, We-groups and Modality as well as Lexical and Textual Analysis, presented to the UN delivered on Sep. 19, 2017. Specifically, the study seeks to determine: (1) how President Trump succeeded in conveying his notions an

Umm AlQura Middle School was chosen by intentional selection to be its students as the research sample for the academic year (2024-2025). Two groups were chosen, one of which was the experimental group studying using the inquiry wheel model and the other the control group studying in the usual way. The equivalence of the two research groups was verified by a set of variables, which were (chronological age in months, previous information test, Raven's intelligence test, chemical enlightenment scale). The activity of the aqueous extract of Olea europaea was tested at concentrations of 8, 15 or 20 mg/kg of body weight on lipid profile in twenty female local rabbits. These animals were randomly divided into four groups (five animals in each group). Three groups were dosed orally with the concentrations mentioned above, while the last was administered with distilled water and considered as a control group. These animals were orally dosed by aqueous extract using a micropipette for 30 days. The results showed that there was a significant (P<0.05) decrease in cholesterol, triglycerides, low density lipoprotein (LDL-cholesterol), very low density lipoprotein (VLDL-cholesterol) concentrations and atherosclerosis index means for the three trea

The energies are calculated through doing shell model calculations employing the OXBASH computer code with effective interaction of F5PVH. The 68Ge nucleus is supposed to have an inert core of 56Ni with 12 nucleons (4 protons and 8 neutrons) move in the f5p-model space ( and ). The nuclear level density of considered classes of states is seen to have a Gaussian form, which is in accord with the prediction of other theoretical studies. The statistical fluctuations of the energy spectrum (the level spacing P(s) and the Dyson-Mehta (or statistics) are well described by the Gaussian orthogonal ens

Show MoreA recently reported Nile red (NR) dye conjugated with benzothiadiazole species paves the way for the development of novel organic-based sensitizers used in solar cells whose structures are susceptible to modifications. Thus, six novel NR structures were derived from two previously developed structures in laboratories. In this study, density functional theory (DFT) calculations and time-dependent DFT (TD-DFT) were used to determine the optoelectronic properties of the NR-derived moieties such as absorption spectra. Various linkers were investigated in an attempt to understand the impact of π-linkers on the optoelectronic properties. According to the findings, the presence of furan species led to the planarity of the molecule and a reduction
