This study was conducted to estimate the extent of damage to the population in Basra, southern Iraq, specifically the areas adjacent to the Shatt al-Arab and the Arabian Gulf, which are the Al-Fao district and the Al-Siba region. They are affected by the progression of saline water resulting from the lack of water imports and the Karun River interruption, which led to high concentrations of salts in the Shatt Al-Arabs. Consequently, its effect on lands and all life types in these areas requires correcting a map of the study area to drop the groundwater sites as well as calculate the total dissolved salts, electrical conductivity and pH. ABSTRACT. A new three metal complexes of La(III), Ce(IV) and UO2(II) ions have been synthesized based on a Schiff base derived from the condensation of L-histidine and anisaldehyde. All prepared compounds were characterized by different spectroscopic techniques and Density-functional theory (DFT) calculations. The complexes were proposed to have an octahedral structure based on the investigated results. The optimized shape, numbering system, and dipole moment vector of Ligand and La, Ce, and UO2 (1:1) chelates were investigated. The Schiff base ligand and complexes exhibit moderate action against all of the bacteria tested, with P. aeruginosa, Klebsiella sp., and E. faecalis respectively being the order of inhibition.

The aim of this work is to perform an experimental study for the effect of forced vertical vibrations on free convection heat transfer coefficient, from flat plate made of Aluminum with dimension (300 Length*100 Width*3 thickness mm).It's heated under a constant heat flux of (250-1500 W/m2 ) upward. The flat plate was located horizontally or inclined in multiple angles at rang of (0o , 30o , 45o 60o ، 90o ). The experimental study is carried out at a range of frequency (2-16 Hz) ، the amplitude at the range of (1.63-7.16 mm), and the Rayleigh number at the rang (138.991< Ra <487.275).
