The performance of H2S sensor based on poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA)-CdS nanocomposite fabricated by spray pyrolysis technique has been reported. XRD pattern diffraction peaks of nano CdS has been indexed to the hexagonally wurtzite structured The nanocomposite exhibits semiconducting behavior with optical energy gap of4.06eV.SEM morphology appears almost tubes like with CdS/PMMA network. That means the addition of CdS to polymer increases the roughness in the film and provides high surface to volume ratio, which helps gas molecule to adsorb on these tubes. Seven leafhoppers (Cicadeilidae). and one plantboppei (Delpbacidae), Homoptera were identified from a one year operated light trap at the College of Agiculture farm in Abu¬Ghraib. The leafhoppers were: Balclutha hortensis Lind.; B. rufaofasciata Merine.; psammctettix alien us Dahlbem.; P. striatus L.; Extianus capicola.; Neoaliturus haematoceps H.            In this research, radon concentrations in some types of healthy drinking water samples available in Iraq's market were measured using a technique called Durridge RAD-7-H₂O with closed loop. Then the rate of annual effective dose in human taken this water is determined.

          It was found that, radon concentrations in studied samples ranged between 1.2 Bq.m^-3 to 142 Bq.m^-3. The aim of this study was to develop a sensor based on a carbon paste electrodes (CPEs) modified with used MIP for determination of organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs). The modified electrode exhibited a significantly increased sensitivity and selectivity of (OPPs). The MIP was prepared by thermo-polymerization method using N,N-diethylaminoethymethacrylate (NNDAA) as functional monomer, N,N-1,4-phenylenediacrylamide (NNPDA) as cross-linker, the acetonitrile used as solvent and (Opps) as the template molecule. The three OPPs (diazinon, quinalphos and chlorpyrifos) were chosen as the templates, which have been selected as base analytes which used widely in agriculture sector. The extraction efficiency of the imprinted polymers has been evaluat
