A Proposed Artificial Intelligence Algorithm for Assessing of Risk Priority for Medical Equipment in Iraqi Hospital
This paper presents a robust algorithm for the assessment of risk priority for medical equipment based on the calculation of static and dynamic risk factors and Kohnen Self Organization Maps (SOM). Four risk parameters have been calculated for 345 medical devices in two general hospitals in Baghdad. Static risk factor components (equipment function and physical risk) and dynamics risk components (maintenance requirements and risk points) have been calculated. These risk components are used as an input to the unsupervised Kohonen self organization maps. The accuracy of the network was found to be equal to 98% for the proposed system. Analysis the Surface Morphology of the Porous Media by using Atomic Force Microscope technique
An atomic force microscope (AFM) technique is utilized to investigate the polystyrene (PS) impact upon the morphological properties of the outer as well as inner surface of poly vinyl chloride (PVC) porous fibers. Noticeable a new shape of the nodules at the outer and inner surfaces, namely "Crater nodules", has been observed. The fibers surface images have seen to be regular nodular texture at the skin of the inner and outer surfaces at low PS content. At PS content of 6 wt.%, the nodules structure was varied from Crater shape to stripe. The corrosion inhibiting properties of the new furan derivative 5-(furan-2-ylmethylsulfonyl-4-phenyl-2,4- dihydro [1,2,4] triazole-3-thione in acidic solution (1.0 M HCl) were explored utilizing electrochemical, surface morphology (AFM), and quantum chemical calculations approaches. The novel furan derivative 5-(furan-2-ylmethylsulfonyl-4-phenyl-2,4- dihydro [1,2,4] triazole-3-thione shows with an inhibitory efficiency value of 99.4 percent at 150 ppm, carbon steel corrosion in acidic medium is effectively inhibited, according to the results. Frankenstein Complex in Daniel H. Wilson's Robopocalypse ( ): Artificial Intelligence Conspiracies
With the advent of technology
the fear of losing control has consistently
accompanied humanity. While humans have discovered
invented
and
created many remarkable things
they have also been haunted by the
possibility of their creations turning against them. This fear
often referred to
as the Frankenstein Complex
derives its name from Mary Shelley's
Frankenstein ()
in which Dr. Frankenstein's creation ultimately destroys
its maker. The Frankenstein Complex embodies the subconscious fear of
artificial intelligence (AI) surpassing and potentially dominating humankind.
This apprehension has inspired numerous literary works
including Daniel H.
Wilson’s novels. The present study examines the widespread fear of AI
which has fueled conspiracy theories in literature. These theories have not
only amplified public anxiety but also hindered understanding among those
with limited knowledge of AI and robotics. Dr. Wilson
a robotics expert
uses
his imagination as a driving force for both his writing and his inventions. The
research focuses on incidents leading to the rise of robots
the concept of the
New War
how it was fought
and how it concluded. By comparing
contrasting
and analyzing literary elements and devices with prominent
conspiracy theories
the study highlights the interplay between fiction and
scientific development. The researchers conclude that while many conspiracy
theories contain elements of truth
they often inspire scientists to explore them
further. Additionally
some conspiracy theories warrant serious
consideration. The study recommends acknowledging the Frankenstein
Complex while maintaining faith in the potential benefits of artificial
intelligence.
