The research included the preparation and characterization of the new 4-ethyl-3-thiocimecarbazide ligand; N1-(dimethylcarbamoyl)-N2-ethylhydrazine-1, 2-bis (carbo-thiomide)(L). Three transition metal complexes were isolated from the mixing of the title ligand with the metal ions of (Ni (II), Co (II), and Cu (II)). The reaction was performed by mixing metal ligand in a 1: 1 mole ratio using EtOH as the medium. The chemical formula of L complexes is presented as follows;[LNiCl2H2O],[LCoCl2H2O] and [LCuCl2H2O], The entity of the expected structure of the ligand and its metal complexes were illustrated through a range of physicochemical techniques. Cladophora and Spirulina algae biomass have been used for the removal of Tetracycline (TC) antibiotic from aqueous solution. Different operation conditions were varied in batch process, such as initial antibiotic concentration, different biomass dosage and type, contact time, agitation speed, and initial pH. The result showed that the maximum removal efficiencies by using 1.25 g/100 ml Cladophora and 0.5 g/100 ml Spirulina algae biomass were 95% and 94% respectively. This work was conducted to study the extraction of pelletierine sulphate from Punica granatum L. roots by liquid membrane techniques. Pelletierine sulphate is used widely in medicine. The general behavior of extraction process indicates that pelletierine conversion increased with increasing the number of stages and the discs rotation speed but high rotation speed was not favored because of the increased risk of droplet formation during the operation. The seasonal behavior of the light curve for selected star SS UMI and EXDRA during outburst cycle is studied. This behavior describes maximum temperature of outburst in dwarf nova. The raw data has been mathematically modeled by fitting Gaussian function based on the full width of the half maximum and the maximum value of the Gaussian. The results of this modeling describe the value of temperature of the dwarf novae star system leading to identify the type of elements that each dwarf nova consisted of.
