Therapeutic contact lenses TCLs is an approach used to enhance corneal residence time and reduce frequent instillation, which is a problem with eye drops.  The problem with CLs is loading of hydrophobic drugs. In this research the CLs were prepared with molecular imprinting MI to enhance the loading of itraconazole, which is used as antifungal drug for fungal keratitis. The effect of different doses of gamma rays that emitted from 60Co on the development of different stages of lesser grain borer Rhyzopertha dominica (Fab.) was investigated . The results showed that the eggs in both early (1-3 days) and late (7-9) old were very sensitive to gamma rays and its hatch was zero at 10 Gy for both ages in comparison with 83.3% for the control group. Furthermore, the results illustrated that the larval stage in its two old ages were different in the radiosensitivity, the percent of its death were 100% & 96.6% when they exposed to 100 & 120 Gy, respectively. Twelve students rinsed their mouths once daily with ten ml. of 0.2 % aqueous solution of chlorhexidine gluconate for five days, and seven students served as a control group that used distilled water for rinsing. The result indicated that after one hour of treatment, an obvious sharp reduction in the viable counts of mutans streptococci, total aerobic bacteria, and to less extent the count of lactobacilli in saliva after one hr. of treatment. AnØ¢  increase in the number of these bacterial groups was clearly noticed three hrs. after the application of chlorhexidine and continued to increase later on. In spite of that increase, the bacterial numbers in saliva remained below the initial numbering in this study.
