In this article, the casting method was used to prepare poly(methyl methacrylate)/hydroxyapatite (PMMA/HA) nanocomposite films incorporated with different contents (0.5, 1, and 1.5 wt%) of graphene nanoplatelets (Gnp). The chemical properties and surface morphology of the PMMA/HA blend and PMMA/HA/Gnp nanocomposite were characterized using FTIR, and SEM analysis. Besides, the thermal conductivity, dielectric and electrical properties at (1–107 Hz) of the PMMA/HA blend and PMMA/HA/Gnp composites were investigated. The structural analysis showed that the synthesized composites had a low agglomerated state, with multiple wrinkles of graphene flakes in the PMMA/HA blend. The thermal conductivity was improved by more than 35-fold its value for pure PMMA. The AC and DC electrical conductivities of PMMA/HA/Gnp composites were enhanced with increasing the amount of Gnp and the estimated exponent (s) being between 1.25 and 1.3. The values of the real part (ɛ′) and imaginary part (ε′′) of the dielectric constant as well as electrical impedance depend on the Gnp ratio. The value of ɛ′ was reduced at the lower frequency (< 105 Hz) and became constant at the higher frequency which attributed to the relaxation time. The values of ε″ are small at low frequencies and increase with increased frequency due to the electronic polarization effects as well as to the dipoles not beginning to follow the field variation at higher frequencies. The increase in the dielectric loss, tan(δ), with an increase in Gnp content, to 0.5 wt%, due to the interfacial polarization mechanism occurred in the composite’s films corresponding to frequencies
In this time, most researchers toward about preparation of compounds according to green chemistry. This research describes the preparation of 2-fluoro-5-(substituted benzylideneamino) benzonitrile under reflux and microwave methods. Six azomethine compounds (B1-6) were synthesized by two methods under reflux and assisted microwave with the comparison between the two methods. Reflux method was prepared of azomethine (B1-6) by reaction of 5-amino-2-fluorobenzonitrile with some aldehyde derivatives with (50–100) mL of absolute ethanol and some quantity of GAA and time is limited between (2–5) hours with a yield between (60–70) percent with recrystallization for appropriate solvents. But the microwave-assisted method was synthesized of co

Understanding the impact of age and treatment types on blood pressure control is essential for optimizing therapeutic strategies. Aim: This study aims to assess how different treatment types and patient age influence blood pressure control in hypertensive patients. Methodology: A binary logistic regression model was employed to analyze data from 48 patients diagnosed with hypertension. The study investigated the impact of two treatment regimens and patient age on the likelihood of achieving optimal blood pressure levels. The statistical significance of the findings was evaluated using chi-square tests and p-values. Results: T

A group of writers mirrored the influence of the war on educational institutions and accordingly on the image of teacher in their novels whose main action is set in and around the campus of a university. The genre dates back to the nineteen forties. where they show the foibles of human nature and reactions to external pressures. One of the early examples of this genre is Lucky Jim (1954). One way to tackle this problem is Dark silicon. Dark silicon is the amount of circuitry in a chip that is forced to switch off to insure thermal integrity of the system and prevent permanent thermal-related faults. In many-core systems, the presence of Dark Silicon adds new design constraints, in general, and on the communication fabric of such systems, in particular. This is due to the fact that system-level thermal-management systems tend to increase the distance between high activity cores to insure better thermal balancing and integrity. Consequently, a designing dilemma is created wh
