Ninety nine swabs were collected from patients with diabetic foot ulcers (DFU), all swabs   were cultured on different selective media for screening, 46 isolates confirmed as S. aureus by API staph. The results of antibiotic susceptibility test revealed that all isolates were resistant to metronidazole, 34 isolates were resistant to cefoxitin, ceftriaxone, and meropenim, 23 isolates were resistant to ciprofloxacin and norfloxacin, 17 and 16 isolates were resistant to tetracycline and trimethoprim, respectively; while all isolates were sensitive to tigecycline. Effect of drought stress induced by mannitol on secondary products in callus of Golden Sunrise cherry tomatoes were studied in vitro. Seeds were irradiated with gamma at the doses (0, 20, or 40 Gy), and germinated on Murashige and Skoog, (MS) basal medium. Callus were initiated from cotyledon leaf explants using a combination of (2.0 kin + 2.0 IAA mg. l^-1) then transferred into MS medium supplemented with mannitol at concentrations of (0, 40, and 60 g.l^-1). Radiological assessment due to existing of natural occurring radioactive materials
(NORM) in South Rumaila oil field was achieved in this study. Different samples
including soil, sludge, scale, oil, and water were collected from different stages of
oil and gas production in Markazia Degassing Station (SDS) in South Rumaila oil
field. Radioactivity of Ra-226, Th-232 and K-40 were measured using gamma
spectrometry system based on HPGe detector with efficiency of 30%. The results
show that some locations within SDS are contaminated with NORM. The activity of

In the recent years the research on the activated carbon preparation from agro-waste and byproducts have been increased due to their potency for agro-waste elimination. This paper presents a literature review on the synthesis of activated carbon from agro-waste using microwave irradiation method for heating. The applicable approach is highlighted, as well as the effects of activation conditions including carbonization temperature, retention period, and impregnation ratio. The review reveals that the agricultural wastes heated using a chemical process and microwave energy can produce activated carbon with a surface area that is significantly higher than that using the conventional heating method.

Bacteriocin is an important antimicrobial peptide that can be used in industrial and medical fields due to its characteristics of antibacterial, food preservation and anticancer activities. Fifty isolates of Bacillus sp were collected from different soil samples which were already recognized via morphological and biochemical identification process.
