The research is an anatomical study for the stem and leaves of Galium aparine
L.The nodal anatomy was carefully investigated ,by the cross sections at the node
provide that what was called "cyclic arrangement" of leaves is in fact includes just
two opposite leaves which take their vascularization from the stele by two leaf
traces.The rest four leaf- like appendages on the node are stipules ,and take their
vascularization from the vascular ring which bond the two opposite leaves,and
refered for some morphological and anatomical characters of the plant species in this
work.

The aim of this study was to evaluate in-vitro activity of Cefamandol and Ceftazidime, in combination with potassium clavulanate against 10 uropathogenic E.coli isolated from patients with chronic complicated urinary tract infections (UTIs), these isolates were identified by the Api identification systems.The antimicrobial susceptibility tests were determined by Kirby-Bauer method and the minimum inhibitory concentrations of Cefamandol and Ceftazidime, were determined, by tube method. Linear and mass attenuation coefficient of reactive powder concrete (RPC) sample ( of compressive strength equal to 70 Mpa) using beta particles and gamma ray with different energies have been calculated as a function of the absorber thickness and energy. The attenuation coefficient were obtained using NaI(Tl) energy selective scintillation counter with 90Sr/90Y beta source having an energy rang from (0.546-2.274) MeV and gamma ray energies (0.569, 0.662, 1.063, 1.17 and 1.33) MeV .
