New complexes of M(II) with mixed ligand of 5-Chlorosalicylic acid (CSA) C7H5ClO3 as primary ligand and L- Valine (L-Val) C5H11NO2 as a secondary ligand were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis (C.H.N), UV., FT-IR, magnetic susceptibility, μeff (B.M) as well as the conductivity measurements (Λm ). In the complexes, the 5-chlorosalicylic acid is bidentate in all complexes coordinating through –OH- and –COO- groups; also L-Valine behaves as a bidentate ligand in all complexes through –NH2 and –COO- groups. These five mixed ligand complexes formulated as Na3[M(CSA)2(L-Val)]. The proposed molecular structure for all complexes is octahedral geometries. The synthesis complexes were tested in vitro for against four bacteria (2-gram +ve) and (2gram -ve) showing activity similar to that of (L-Val).
1-[4-(2-Hydroxy-4, 6-dimethyl-phenylazo)-phenol]-ethanone (HL1) and 2-(4-methoxy-phenylazo)-3, 5-dimethyl-phenol (HL2) were produced by combination the diazonium salts of amines with 3, 5-dimethylphenol. The geometry of azo compounds was resolved on the basis of (C.H.N) analyses, 1H and 13CNMR, FT-IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic mechanisms. Complexes of La (III) and Rh (III) have been performed and depicted. The formation of complexes has been identified by using elemental analysis, FT-IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic process as well, conductivity molar quantifications. Nature of complexes produced have been studied obeyed mole ratio and continuous alteration ways, Beer's law followed through a concentration scope (1×10-4 - 3×10-4 M). H

The ligand was characterized by FT-IR, NMR spectra and the elemental analysis. The transition metal complexes of this ligand where synthesize and characterized by UV-Visible spectra, FT-IR, magnetic suscpility, conductively measurement, The general formula [M (NTP) 2] where M+2= (Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd, Hg,), the form of molecular for these complexes as tetrahedral except Cu has square planer.
The study involved the synthesis of new complexes with tetradentate ligand (LH). The general formula of complexes was [M(LH)(H2O)2] with M of Ni2+, Co2+, Cu2+, and Zn+. The ligand was synthesized by treating the 2-hydroxybenzohydrazide with salicylaldehyde. The structural characteristics of ligands and complexes were analyzed using various techniques, including elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductivity, infrared, ultraviolet absorption, mass, and NMR spectroscopy studies. The physical measurements indicated that the prepared complexes are non-electrolyte and showed that the ligand is tetradentate when coordinated with metal ions through the nitrogen of azomethine (–C=N–), two oxygen atoms of O–H phenolic,

Treatment of the latter with p-nitrobenzoyl chloride in pyridine yielded the ester (II) which was dissolved in (65%) acetic acid in absolute ethanol yielded the glycol (III). The reaction of the glycol (III) with sodium periodate in distilled water at room temperature produced the aldehyde (IV). The compound (V) [4-(1,3-dioxoisoindolin-2-yl)benzoic acid] was synthesized by reaction p-aminobenzoic acid and phthalic anhydride in presence of (gla. CH3COOH). New Schiff-base ligands bearing tetrazole moiety and their polymeric metal complexes with Co(II), Ni(II) and Cd(II) ions are reported. Ligands were prepared in a multiple-step reaction. The reaction of sodium 2,6- diformylphenolate and cyclohexane-1,3-dione with 5-amino-2-fluorobenzonitrile resulted in the isolation of two precursors sodium 2,6-bis((E)-(3-cyano-4-fluorophenylimino)methyl)-4-methylphenolate 1 and 5,5'- (1E,1'E)-cyclohexane-1,3-diylidenebis- (azan-1-yl-1-ylidene)bis(2-fluorobenzonitrile) 2, respectively. The reaction of precursors with azide gave the required ligands; sodium 2,6-bis((E)-(4-fluoro-3-(1H-tetrazol-5- yl)phenylimino)methyl)-4-methylphenolate (NaL) and (N,N'E,N,N'E)-N,N'-(cyclohexane-1,3-diylidene)bis(4- fluoro-3-
