Rare-earth metal oxides (REMOs) exhibit distinctive properties, among which cerium oxide (CeO2) displays numerous industrial, technological, and medical applications. However, the inclusion of hafnium (Hf) at the cerium (Ce) site to form the (Ce1-ₓHfₓO2) lattice system at a concentration of x = 0.25 would have an impact on enhancing the physical properties of the simulated configuration. Density functional theory (DFT) was used to perform the calculations, supported by the Hubbard correction factor (U). The generalized gradient approximation (GGA-PBE) was employed to analyze the electronic, structural, optical, and mechanical properties at hydrostatic pressures (P = 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100 GPa). The ground state geometry of the pristine fluorite CeO2 corresponds to 5.438 Å, signifying an excellent agreement with the available published literature. The calculated lattice parameter of Ce0.75Hf0.25O2 is diminished to 5.327 Å as compared with CeO2. Furthermore, CeO2 exhibits a semiconductor character with a direct band gap of 3.134 eV, while the band gap of the Ce0.75Hf0.25O2 system was reported to be 3.073 eV, demonstrating slight degradation. However, under pressure, the results demonstrate a gradual increment in the band gap energy of Ce0.75Hf0.25O2 until reaching 3.861 eV at 100 GPa. Furthermore, the thermodynamic feasibility was investigated via the chemical potential approach. The pressure-dependent optical properties were extensively discussed of Ce0.75Hf0.25O2, demonstrating enhanced optical properties in the ultraviolet (UV) region, motivating its suitable utility for optoelectronic memristors and other photonic applications.
Linguistic research according to modern curricula:
It is one of the important matters that occupy the ideas of those concerned with linguistic studies, whether Arabic or otherwise. Recent years have witnessed the advancement of this methodological approach, and books and studies in Arabic have been written on important, multifaceted issues, of grammatical and linguistic origins, and their balance with new developments and ideas attracted mostly from Western studies.
The comparative approach - as they call it - is one of the modern approaches that is based on balancing a language with other sisters belonging to its family, to reach similarities and differences between them, and to know the c
This research Sought to Determine the Relationship and impact between the tax knowledge in dimensions of the tax compliance costs (monetary costs, time costs, psychic costs) Since the sample included 81 individuals represented by the Executive directors and Financial and Accountant working in the Joint-stock company, A questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection and its analysis. For the purpose of analyzing the research data the statistical package for social science, SPSS. The most important tools used in the statistical analysis are:(standard deviation, and simple linear regression, percentages, arithmetic mean, Cronbach's alpha, F-test, T- Test). The research found a weakness attenti

The phosphor materials have been synthesized by two steps: Preparing the powder by solid state method using Y2O3, SiO2 and Eu2O3 with doping materials concentration (70%, 25% and 5%) respectively and different calcination temperature (1000, 1200 and 1400 oC).
The second step is to prepare the colloid solution by dispersing the produced powder in a polyvinyl alcohol solution (4%) .

The starting materials for the synthesis of Mn2+ and Ce3+ Doped ZnS P nanocrystals were zinc acetate as zinc source, thioacetamide as a sulfur source, manganese chloride and Cerium chloride as manganese and cerium sources respectively (R & M Chemical) and ethylene glycol as a solvent. All chemicals were analytical grade products and used without further purification. The nanocrystals of Mn2+ and Ce3+ Doped ZnS P with cubic structure were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), the morphology of the film is seen by field effect scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The composition of the samples is analyzed by EDS. The s

From these results, excess molar volumes, VE , have been calculated and fitted to the Flory equations. The VE values are negative and positive over the whole mole fraction range and at all temperatures. The excess refractive indices nE and excess viscosities ?E have been calculated from experimental refractive indices and viscosity measurements at different temperature and fitted to the mixing rules equations and Heric – Coursey equation respectively to predict theoretical refractive indices, we found good agreement between them for binary mixtures in this study. The synthesized electrolyte films were characterized using FTIR, XRD, UV-Vis, DSC, and TGA techniques. FTIR spectroscopy revealed an O-H stretching vibration of PVP around 3300 cm(-1), which experienced broadening and a reduction in intensity upon the introduction of glycerin and CuCl2. XRD analysis displayed a characteristic peak at 2 theta similar to 20 degrees, with the peak shifting towards higher angles and a slight decrease in intensity as the CuCl2 concentration increased, indicating a disruption of the crystalline structure of the host matrix. Although there is no successful treatment available, the local use of compounds with effective anti-inflammatory and cytoprotective effects may be of value in this respect. This project was designed to evaluate clinically the local use of silymarin, a group of flavonoids with powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cytoprotective activity, in the treatment of herpes simplex ulcer.
