An Optimized Approach for Industrial IoT Based on Edge Computing
...Show More Authors

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an information network that connects gadgets and sensors to allow new autonomous tasks. The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) refers to the integration of IoT with industrial applications. Some vital infrastructures, such as water delivery networks, use IIoT. The scattered topology of IIoT and resource limits of edge computing provide new difficulties to traditional data storage, transport, and security protection with the rapid expansion of the IIoT. In this paper, a recovery mechanism to recover the edge network failure is proposed by considering repair cost and computational demands. The NP-hard problem was divided into interdependent major and minor problems that could be solved in polynomial time by using the Benders decomposition technique and cutting plane approximation. To ensure the nonincreasing character of the Benders upper limit, a local branching method was also added to improve the convergence. Simulation results indicated that the proposed method is superior to the existing method and has better overall performance.

Applying Penman-Monteith Equation to Evaluate the Performance of Atmometer Apparatus in Greenhouse for Estimating Reference Evapotranspiration
...Show More Authors

In this paper an atmometer apparatus were used in the greenhouses for estimating reference evapotranspiration values. Experimental work was conducted in the agriculture research center in the College of Agriculture-University of Baghdad west of the city of Baghdad. One atmometer was used in eggplant greenhouse and in cucumber greenhouse through the winter growing season 2013-2014. FAO Penman-Monteith equation was applied outside the greenhouse and used only 65% from the value of ETo in the greenhouses for estimating the reference evapotranspiration in the greenhouse. Moreover, Penman-Monteith equation was applied in greenhouses for the evaluating the performance of the atmometer. The results show that the erro

Determination of the Annual Optimal Reliable Frequency for Different Transmitter/Receiver Stations Distributed over the Iraqi Territory
...Show More Authors

This paper aimed to determine the Optimal Reliable Frequency (ORF) that can maintain certain connection link between different transmitter/receiver stations laid over the Iraqi territory. Three different transmitting sites were chosen as tested stations located in the northern, central, and southern regions of Iraq. These sites are Mosul, Baghdad, and Basra, respectively. In this study, the years 2009 and 2014, which represent the minimum and maximum years of solar cycle 24, were chosen to examine the effect of low and high solar activity on the determined ORF. The datasets of the Best Usable Frequency (BUF) were calculated using the ASAPS international communication model. An analytical study was made on the generated BUF parameter data

The role of monetary policy in achieving financial stability of Iraqi banks for the period (2009 - 2017)
...Show More Authors

The responsibility of the Central Bank through the implementation of its monetary policy to maintain the integrity and stability of the financial system and the economic system, because any shock, whether internal or external, may endanger the financial system and instability, so the research sheds light on the effectiveness of monetary policy in maintaining financial stability, The most important conclusion is that there is an increase in capital, which gives banks the possibility to face the risks to which they are exposed, as well as a rise in the total bad debts, which weakens its financial position, which constitutes a decline in the financial stability of these banks.

Calculating the Resolving Power For Symmetrical Double Pole Piece Magnetic Lenses By Using A Preassigned Analytical Functions
...Show More Authors

In this theoretical paper  and depending on the optimization synthesis method for electron magnetic lenses a theoretical  computational investigation was carried out to calculate the Resolving Power for the symmetrical double pole piece magnetic lenses,  under the absence of magnetic saturation, operated by the mode of telescopic operation by using symmetrical magnetic field for some analytical functions well-known in electron optics such as Glaser’s Bell-shaped model,  Grivet-Lenz model, Gaussian field model  and Hyperbolic tangent field model.       This work can be extended further by using the same or other models for asymmetrical or symmetrical axial magnetic field

FIA– Spectrophotometric methods for the determination of Naringenin in supplements and urine samples using diazotization coupling reactions
...Show More Authors

Direct FIA methods for estimation of Naringenin (NG) in different samples were proposed. These methods are based on diazotization coupling reactions of two reagents: method (A) p-chloroaniline (PCA) and method (B) procaine hydrochloride (PRH) with NG in basic medium. Yellow dyes with maximum absorption at 416 and 415 nm were formed respectively. Calibration curves were constructed over different NG concentrations, linearity was from 1- 70 and 1- 40 µgmL-1 with detection limits of 0.55 and 0.24 µgmL-1 for (A) and (B) respectively. All analytical variables involved in the FIA procedure were evaluated and optimized. The established methods were successfully applied for the determination of NG in its supplements and u

Composition operator induced by ?(z) = sz + t for which |s|?1, |t|<1 and |s|+|t|?1
...Show More Authors

We study in this paper the composition operator that is induced by ?(z) = sz + t. We give a characterization of the adjoint of composiotion operators generated by self-maps of the unit ball of form ?(z) = sz + t for which |s|?1, |t|<1 and |s|+|t|?1. In fact we prove that the adjoint is a product of toeplitz operators and composition operator. Also, we have studied the compactness of C? and give some other partial results.

Developing of Bacterial Mutagenic Assay System for Detection of Environmental and Food MutagensV – Using Anticancer Drug Cyclophosphamide
...Show More Authors

G-system composed of three isolates G3 ( Bacillus),G12 ( Arthrobacter )and G27 ( Brevibacterium) was used to detect the mutagenicity of the anticancer drug, cyclophosphamide (CP) under conditions similar to that used for standard mutagen, Nitrosoguanidine (NTG). The CP effected the survival fraction of isolates after treatment for 15 mins using gradual increasing concentrations, but at less extent comparing to NTG. The mutagenic effect of CP was at higher level than that of NTG when using streptomycin as a genetic marker, but the situation was reversed when using rifampicin resistant as a report marker. The latter effect appeared upon recording the mutagen efficiency (ie., number of induced mutants/microgram of mutagen). Measuring the R

Convergence prop erties of Jackson polynomials have been considered by Zugmund

(1 ï‚£p ï‚£ ï‚¥) have proved a direct inequality for Jackson polynomials in L
p-sp ace of 2-periodic bounded Riemann integrable functions (f R) in terms of some modulus of
continuity .
In 1991 S.K.Jassim proved direct and inverse inequality for Jackson polynomials in
locally global norms (L

suitable Peetre K-functional [4].
Now the aim of our paper is to proved direct and inverse inequalities for Jackson
