The complexes Shiff base  and  mixed ligands complexes of bipyridyl and Schiff base 1,5-dimethyl-4-(5-oxohexan-2-ylideneamino)-2-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-3(2H)-one (L) with Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(II) and Co(II) were prepared. The compounds have been characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis, mass and ¹H and ¹³C-NMR spectra, magnetic moment, elemental microanalyses (C.H.N.), chloride containing, atomic absorption and molar conductance. The influence of process speed (PS) and tillage depth (TD) , on growth of corn (Zea mays L) yield, for Maha cultivar, were tested at two ranges of PS of 2.483 and 4.011 km.hr-1, and three ranges of TD of 15,20 and 25cm. Sorghum seeds suffer from a low germination ratio, so a factorial experiment was carried out in the Seed Technology Laboratory, Department of Field Crops, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad during 2022 according to a Completely Randomized Design with four replications to study the effect of stimulating seeds with aqueous extract of banana peels with a concentration of (0, 15, 25 and 35%) and citric acid at concentrations (0, 50, 100 and 200 mg L-1) on viability and vigour of seed properties.
