Adsorption of Biebrich Scarlet Dye into Remains Chromium and Vegetable Tanned Leather as Adsorbents
...Show More Authors

Chromium tanned leather wastes (CTLW) and vegetable tanned leather wastes (VTLW) were used as adsorbent materials to remove the Biebrich scarlet dye (BS), as an anionic dye from wastewater, using an adsorption method. The effects of various factors, such as weight of leather waste, time of shaking, and the starting concentration of Biebrich scarlet dye, temperature and pH were studied. It described the adsorption process using Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. The obtained results agreed well with the Langmuir model, and the maximum adsorption capacities of CTLW and VTLW were 73.5294 and 78.1250 mg.g⁻¹, respectively, suggesting a monolayer adsorption process. The adsorption kinetic was found to follow a pseudo-second-order kinetic model with correlation coefficients R2 > 0.9982 and 0.9900 for CTLW and VTLW, respectively. The results predicted that chromium leather wastes were more suitable adsorbents for the removal of BS dye from wastewater than vegetable tanned leather wastes, and the adsorption process is endothermic, according to the study of the effect of temperature.

Morphological study of porous aromatic schiff bases as a highly effective carbon dioxide storages
...Show More Authors

Carbon dioxide (CO2) capture and storage is a critical issue for mitigating climate change. Porous aromatic Schiff base complexes have emerged as a promising class of materials for CO2 capture due to their high surface area, porosity, and stability. In this study, we investigate the potential of Schiff base complexes as an effective media for CO2 storage. We review the synthesis and characterization of porous aromatic Schiff bases materials complexes and examine their CO2 sorption properties. We find that Schiff base complexes exhibit high CO2 adsorption capacity and selectivity, making them a promising candidate for use in carbon capture applications. Moreover, we investigate the effect of various parameters such as temperature, and pressu

Experimental Evaluation Use of Semifluidized Bed Adsorber for the Treatment of P-chlorophenol and O-cresol in Wastewater using Activated Carbon as Adsorbent
...Show More Authors

In the present work the performance of semifluidized bed adsorber was evaluated for removal of phenolic compound from wastewater using commercial activated carbon as adsorbent. P-chlorophenol (4-Chlorophenol) and o-cresol (2-methylphenol) was selected as a phenolic compound for that purpose. The phenols percent removal, in term of breakthrough curves were studied as affected by hydrodynamics limitations which include minimum and maximum semifluidization velocities and packed bed formation in the column by varying various parameters such as inlet liquid superficial velocity (from Uminsf to 8Uminsf m/s), and retaining grid (sometimes referred to as adsorbent loading) to initial static bed height ratio (from 3-4.5). Four metal compounds mixed ligand of azo dye ligand (L) and metformin.(Met) were produced at aquatic ethanol for (1:1:1) (M:L:Met). The prepared compounds were identified by utilizing atomic absorption flame, FT.IR and UV–Vis spectrum manners as well as conductivity mensuration. These compounds was assayed of the gained datum the octahedral geometry was proposed into whole prepared complexes. Also in this research was studied represented examining the antibacterial and antifungal impact of the azo dye ligand (L), metformin.(Met) and (Co,Ni, Cu and Cd complexes) on four types of pathogenic, clinically isolated bacteria that are resistant to antibiotic, like Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneu

Serum and urine apolipoprotien A1 (ApoA1) as biomarkers in bladder cancer
...Show More Authors

Bladder cancer (BC) is the predominant malignant neoplasm in the urinary system and ranks as the tenth most prevalent malignant tumor worldwide. Compared with females, males displayed a four-fold more common incidence of bladder cancer. It mainly affects men. Bladder cancer is the fourth most prevalent neoplasm in males. The most important protein that makes up high density lipoprotein (HDL), ApoA-I apolipoprotein A1 is essential in regulating the right amount of cholesterol. Multiple inquiries have demonstrated that APOA1 plays a pivotal role in the progression, infiltration, and spread of tumors. Objectives. The objective of this study was to measure the level of urine to serum apolipoprotein A1 in patients suffering from bladder

‘Ambivalence’ as a Concept in John Clare's Middle and Late Poetry
...Show More Authors

This paper signifies the contradictory point of view in John Clare’s poetry. Clare (1794-1864) is an English romantic poetry in the nineteenth century, who writes more than ten volumes about nature. So, this study highlights the concept of Psychoanalytic theory which is ‘ambivalence’ and how through this theory can interpret any literary text on the basis of utilizing psychoanalytic methods to literary texts in order to reveal the author's inner emotions such as motives, dreams, as well as wishes. Consequently, the concept of  ‘ambivalence’ has a lot in common with the human psyche and its struggles. Sometimes the reader finds the author/poet talking about something real or a notion with pleasant sentiments
